Carl Rivera43 said:Zero content, not even a single shred of English—so when you try to wrap your head around zero, think about the number four. Think of the four cardinal directions, the four seasons, or even the four suits in a deck of cards.

Interesting👍

So, essentially, zero is everything, nothing, and the divine all wrapped into one, right? Or maybe they're just one and the same.🤔

We can imagine any kind of vision we want, I guess.

I find it totally fascinating why after December 31st {12} we jump straight to January 1st {1}... instead of some "zero-zero" era? But then again, once you hit 23 hours and 59 minutes, it becomes 0:00. Even though both are mathematical concepts rather than physical ones—you know, actual time—it’s like you can't even physically describe that moment.{english time}

descender said:Loving yourself is actually pretty simple, isn't it? It's basically just basic survival instinct. Even animals get a little bit of that if you twist their nature just enough. What’s actually hard—and what makes humans so unique—is self-hatred. After The Fall of Man, it felt like everything worked to drive us away from the world, keeping us stuck in that weird, empty space between moments. I really think consciousness comes from this sense of self-loathing. That’s where the whole human thing starts. I hate myself: therefore, I am truly human. Being conscious means being split off from who you really are. It’s a constant internal battle. This hatred lives deep in our roots, yet somehow, it’s also what feeds The Tree of Knowledge.

So, we end up as people standing outside of the world, totally disconnected from ourselves. You can't even really call us "living" creatures because our connection to life is so shallow, right? And our connection to death is just as thin. Since we can't find a middle ground between living and dying, we've basically been faking it from the start. We're intruders. Pseudo-animals. Impostors. Consciousness—this weird ability to not fully belong to anything—wasn't exactly part of the original plan for the universe. We know it, too. But we aren't brave enough to lean into it and face the end, and we aren't willing to let it go just to survive. We're strangers to our own nature, lonely within ourselves, caught between the present moment and whatever comes next. How can we claim any reality when we're only halfway there? We're beings without true existence.

Every move toward pure thought feels like a betrayal of life itself. Why doesn't he just stop this whole "consciousness" adventure so he can reconnect with the world? But he can't. He's trapped by a self-hatred he won't let go of. By The Path of Salvation, he's constantly trying to reinvent himself just to prove he's still a fascinating creature.

Consciousness is such a temporary thing, yet he pushes it until it practically explodes, shattering along with it. Maybe by tearing himself apart, he finally reaches his true core and fulfills his purpose: becoming his own worst enemy. If life warped matter, then he has warped life. Will this happen again? Probably not. It looks like we might just be nature's very last, unpredictable whim.

darksurfer4 said:But zero still exists—the question is, what defines it? Is it absolute nothingness? Or perhaps a transition point where matter shifts into energy?

The absence of the concept itself—the polar opposite of everything.😁

Look, he could have just come to the off-topic board and handed everyone a million bucks; he'd still have plenty left over. We'll never see a crowd like this again. 😳

Maybe it’s finally time for some real protests? I mean, isn't it obvious? False accusations are just plain evil.

Back on January 25th, 1938, people actually saw the Northern Lights over all of America—even way down south! Can you imagine? That happened during the night of the 25th heading into the 26th.

And then there's the day Toše Proeski was born in 1981.

So, there’s this dad taking his little girl to the barbershop. She mentions she’s starving, so he grabs her a slice of pizza on the way. Once they get to the shop, Dad sits down and tells the barber, "Give me a clean shave and buzz my head bald." Meanwhile, the kid is just demolishing that pizza, standing right next to him with this totally Shocked look on her face. The barber looks at her and jokes, "Watch out, kid, you might end up with hair growing on that pizza!" And she just hits him back with, "I know! My boobs are already growing!!"

Nicholas Gonzalez8 said:I’ve struggled with focus and memory my whole life. Back in school, I used to write down every single little thing my teachers said. Honestly, I still do that today. For instance, my parents will tell me something I need to do, and I just... forget. Sometimes I'll go to say one word and a completely different one comes out instead. I have a hard time remembering faces, names, numbers, or even small details about people I just met. Occasionally, I’ll forget what I said or did just a few seconds or minutes ago. Plus, getting my bearings in new situations takes forever. My reaction is either non-existent, super rushed and messy, or just way too slow. That said, if I'm given enough time, I can usually come up with better solutions than most people.

I know being on the computer messes with my concentration, and I spend most of my time at home in front of a screen. Except for those days when I actually have stuff to do outside. I used to be big into PC gaming and binge-watching movies, but over the last year, none of that really appeals to me anymore. Now, I mostly use the computer for reading, writing, and listening to music on the side. I love it, though, and I don't want to give that up. I mean, there are people who work 7 or 8 hours a day on a computer and function perfectly fine, right?

I also try to stay present in the moment—you know, being mindful of every thought, emotion, and action. There are times and days where I nail it. But then there are plenty of days where nothing goes right, no matter how much I want it to. Everything else in my life is more than okay, though.

What else do you guys think affects concentration and memory? Any tips on how to fix them? Does anyone else deal with this, and how do you handle it? I've already searched Google, but I'm really curious to hear your personal takes.

fix it with vision {and energy}
