Maybe the chat is one thing, but the rest of this forum has become 🙂

I liked the old forum and some of the girls on there. I miss that. Mostly just the girls, I guess.
It’s probably no wonder that on days when I’m feeling better, busy with work, or heaven forbid, actually in a relationship, I completely forget about this place.

What did you guys even talk about on the old forum? An America without the constant jaw-dropping outrage, misogyny, and misandry would be boring. Every now and then, some troll would drop a fake story, everyone would jump on it, and that was that. At least, from what I saw.

Every once in a while, some troll would just drop a fake story, everyone would jump on the bandwagon, and that was basically the whole show. At least, that’s how it looked from where I was sitting.

The threads on the old PDF were pretty much dead, but the chat was always buzzing and the crew there was solid.
Every two or three days we'd move to a new chat, and you could find just about anything being talked about in there.
Nowadays, it seems like people just use the threads as a playground for bickering with each other, whereas back then, all that drama happened in the chat instead.

And honestly, nobody gives a damn about jawlines. 🤣

quietcrane63 said:I just logged off and checked out the US, and man, the forum feels boring as hell now. Honestly, looking back, I don't even think we need moderators anymore. Unless, of course, they decide to scrap the moderator roles for everyone else too.

I had a feeling this was coming eventually. I remember mentioning not too long ago that this whole utopia wouldn't last forever.
As for other American forums, I'm not really sure if there are any others left that feel more laid-back. Until yesterday, the US felt pretty chill.
Regarding the mods, who knows what's next. They recently handed them out to Wiki, Mickey, and Unz, but they were stripped away after only two weeks.
It felt like some kind of experiment to see if the US would be better off without them.
In my opinion, having any moderators just ends up cheapening the vibe of the forum.

George Cook31 said:I'm reading that Sisyphus guy over on PZK and honestly, I can't believe someone can post such absolute garbage. 😂
He doesn't even need a username or an avatar. You recognize him instantly just by his posts.

His main issue is that he has no clue how to talk like a normal person.
He sounds like some politically correct bot that won't stop spamming.

George Cook31 said:Reading the US is basically like reading articles on BuzzFeed, and trying to actually join those debates is even crazier.
Maybe the crew in chat is okay—chat is just chat—but the rest of the forum has become 🙂

I actually liked the old version of the forum and the girls who used to hang out here. I miss that. Mostly the girls, though.
It’s no wonder that when I'm having a good week, staying busy with work, or heaven forbid, actually in a relationship, I completely forget about the forum exists.

The US used to be cool because things were always happening and you could actually find a conversation going at any hour of the day.
But still, chat US is where I belong. It's like home; no matter where you go, you always find your way back to where you started.

I mean, you can't expect to pull off those super complex pieces without putting in the practice hours first.☕
I’ve reached a point where I can barely play anything anymore, but you know me well enough to realize my struggle isn't really about finger dexterity—it's mostly just a mental block at this stage.😉

Whatever, I'm not going to argue 🙂

quietcrane63 said:What was everyone arguing about on the old message board? An America without jawless debates, misogyny, or misandry is just plain boring. Every once in a while, some troll shows up with a fake story, everyone jumps on the bandwagon, and—well, that’s that. At least, that's how it looked from where I was sitting.

I mean, every single forum eventually gets ruined by overzealous moderation. The only subforums where I actually wrote anything meaningful were philosophy and football—basically. Other than those, I think I drifted through five different subforums just hanging out in the chats, and we always ended up getting kicked out of them. There was this one time a few of us migrated to some random forum dedicated to aliens, higher dimensions, crystals, and all that weird stuff, and we just started our own chat there, lmao.

Without those kinds of topics—and the users who push their own agendas—a forum loses its entire pulse. It’s inevitable that things get dull when the same core group basically shares the exact same "normie" opinion on everything, just recycling the same empty arguments. But then, man, that same crowd gets incredibly defensive whenever someone walks in with an "unacceptable" viewpoint, and they immediately band together against the newcomers, whining to the mods to deport those "forum immigrants" and ban them.

Right.

I've noticed that on foreign forums, there's often actual freedom of speech. Insults, racism, swearing, misogyny, misandry—it's all tolerated, which keeps things tense and interesting. The only thing that isn't allowed is calls for genocide or ethnic cleansing. Looking at it from a distance, it's easy to see that it might actually be that small, sensitive group dragging down the quality of the forum, rather than us being punished with a sub-forum.

Like, the insults, the racism, the swearing, the misogyny, the misandry—it all kind of gets tolerated, which I guess makes things feel way more intense and actually interesting to follow. The only thing they really won't stand for is calls for genocide or ethnic cleansing. Looking at it from a broader perspective, it could easily seem like it's just that tiny group of grumpy people dragging down the quality of the board, rather than us folks who were dealt a bad hand by the local economy.

I mean, I'm not really sure which forums you're hanging out on. On Reddit, the mods will ban you whenever they feel like it, and honestly, it's even harder to get back in there using an alt account.

I don't know, I haven't spent a huge amount of time lurking on international forums. It probably feels more or less the same everywhere these days, with maybe a few exceptions—at least when you're talking about these big general interest boards.

I suspect you might find a bit more breathing room on some of those specialized redpill or blackpill boards—they tend to be a little more lenient.

Man, where is this all heading? At this rate, we’ll all be forced to move our conversations over to the dark web just to speak our minds.

Have you noticed how much Gojz seems to like you just because you're good-looking, even if she hates half of what you say? Remember how tisa used to act exactly the same way a few years back?

My deepest condolences... just out of pure solidarity, I went ahead and gave the entire US site a good old-fashioned slap.☕

EDIT: Honestly, these professional victims who drag everything to this point—you know the type, they show up every couple of years, scrub the PDFs of anything they deem "offensive" to their sensibilities—they really just deserve a hard ignore. Their actual contribution to the forum is basically zero; if anything, they’re actively draining ad revenue from the owner. The only click they ever generate on their own posts is when they turn into an actual entry, so that tells you everything you need to know about them.

No, it's just that you aren't exactly her type, so why bother talking?

But we all know you're crazy about Hani. Most guys on this forum wouldn't dream of trying to break up a couple just to get a shot like you're aiming for with Hani. She’s gorgeous and interesting; anyone would be lucky to have her.
