That’s exactly how I do it, too. Honestly, I don't feel embarrassed at all. Going solo is actually a pretty great way to experience the world and meet new people on your own terms.

I personally can't stand doing that.

Plus, I could never bring myself to eat alone in a restaurant.

That’s exactly how I handle it. And honestly? There is zero shame in it. Reddit soloing is actually a fantastic way to experience the world and the people in it.

Soloing is great, provided you are actually at peace with yourself.

I am a cheerful person, though, so I guess I'll probably have to start getting better at using emojis just to prove that point.

But anyway, what’s the hardest part for you when you're out grabbing coffee by yourself? Is it just the boredom, or is it something else?

yeah, you definitely come across as cheerful and open-minded🤣

I always feel like I lack self-confidence, yet there were plenty of times back when I was in college—and even later—where I'd head out to a club alone, or grab coffee by myself, or even travel solo without needing someone waiting for me at the destination... 😵

Look, if you're noticing that you actually want to hook up with some guy you aren't even into, you might want to start digging a hole and burying your head in it. 🐔 😬

I’m honestly more surprised that anyone is still hanging out at a Doberman this late in the game.😁
Usually, while I'm having my coffee, I'll spend the time mulling over things I need to settle—tasks, projects, work, etc.—and occasionally I might play a hand of poker. But if I'm being completely honest, coffee or a beer are my absolute favorite ways to unwind.

I mean, honestly... if you find yourself actually considering picking up some guy who you aren't even remotely interested in, maybe you could just start digging through your nose instead. 🐔 😬

I really don't see how confidence plays into this at all.

I'm a total social butterfly and I love hanging out with people at the local pub.

It isn't weird one bit! 🤷‍♀️

Later on, I'll probably hit up McDonald's and take some photos for Instagram.

I don't mind it at all. Honestly, I’ve gotten used to traveling on my own. There's something nice about just being responsible for yourself without having to worry about dragging someone else along for the ride. Plus, if I happen to meet someone cool, we can just head home together—and if not, everyone just goes their own way. No big deal!

If you’re used to letting people walk all over you... hey, be my guest. Me? I’m doing my own thing. I actually enjoy the peace and quiet. Even when I'm waiting around for someone, there's zero drama. Why bother? Just because they're running late? Please.

I don't know, I think there's definitely a connection. 🤔 Fine, maybe I just look at things differently. 🤔

And you're going to McDonald's alone? 😲

To be completely honest, when I’m sitting there with my coffee, I usually find myself spiraling into thoughts about things I need to tackle, stuff I have to get done, work, or whatever—sometimes I’ll even lose myself in a few hands of poker. But if I’m being totally real with you, solo coffee or beer sessions are definitely my favorite way to unwind.

There are tons of people on here.

You can always just grab a decent book and use that to pass the time.

Cyclops by Rank Marinković? Honestly, I'm quite surprised by the choice, though I have my doubts it could ever truly compete with Instagram.

🤣

Drinking coffee alone isn't such a crisis that I'd start a thread about it. 😁
Grabbing a coffee by myself in the morning while running errands around town is perfectly fine.

I honestly just love having a coffee all by myself. Whether I'm chilling at home or hitting up a local cafe, it’s my time. 😁
This whole thing feels a bit "influencer" and soft... sounds more like something a teenager would post than a typical comment from Kiran. But hey, I'll leave room for the possibility that I'm just getting old. 😁

I’ve never been a big coffee shop person—honestly, I can't stand cafe coffee—so I only really drag myself into one when I absolutely have to.

Look, that doesn't exactly answer the question, but hey, at least now you guys know this incredibly vital piece of information about me 🥳

So, I'm basically just playing pocket billiards and picking my nose—sometimes I make little balls out of it to aim at people, and other times I just eat them like candy alongside my coffee. 🍿

It wasn't random. Now that I'm reading it, it’s actually a much smoother read than Philip Latinovicz. Still, it hits you right in the gut like a heavy stone.

There’s just something about a morning coffee at my favorite local diner that feeds the soul—just me, my thoughts, and zero unnecessary distractions...

It's a solid choice regardless, even if things feel a bit heavy right now. I'm with you on that.

I make it a point to carve out some time every single day just to be alone with my own head; it doesn't always have to involve a cup of coffee.

The book is just something I always keep in my bag, I guess.
