What do you do when you're grabbing coffee alone at a bar?

It depends on whether I am waiting for someone, the morning paper, my phone, or perhaps just a conversation—if anyone is actually available to talk.

Whenever I’m taking some time off out on the coast, I make it a point—actually, it's a ritual—to head out for my morning coffee completely solo. I'm talking that specific breed of person who basically radiates a "don't even think about bothering me until I've finished this cup" vibe. It's glorious! I just sit there, soaking it all in—watching the people passing by, the scenery, the ocean, the birds... it's pure Zen.

I haven't been out in ages.

Last time was probably three years ago. I grabbed a coffee before work.
It was just the start of spring, the sun was out, and there was that crisp, nice breeze 😍
I was just reading a book and listening to music on my headphones. Just me, by myself.
Ahhhhhhh 😍

Since then, I've mostly spent my free time running or dancing in my studio.

But man, I wish I had time for everything.
Then again, I wouldn't have these two little sweethearts.
They aren't worth trading in for a night at the pub, no matter what. 😍

I'm doing alright, thanks.
I've mostly been cycling lately, haven't really run in a while. But I guess I should probably get back into it soon, I definitely miss it.

Just hanging out playing some billiards, sipping on some tea, and scrolling through the forums. My place is about 130 square feet—tiny, I know!—but it's cozy. Got Thomson playing in the background. Pure bliss 🎉
