Larry Diaz4, come on, are you serious? Are people actually like that? I mean, you’re telling me you’ve *never* even touched one? I find that hard to believe, especially given the crowd we have here on this forum.
Are you pulling my leg or what?

I’m telling you, if there are people out there who don't drink, that’s exactly my point. It’s all just mockery and discrimination—it's constant. Honestly, I feel like they’d probably try to pin me to the floor just like that guy in the news over in the States. 🕺
Those types of people—they just have this pathological hatred for anyone who doesn't have even a single drop of alcohol in their system. 🕺

People who pathologically despise anyone without a single drop of alcohol in their system... 🕺

I have a friend just like that.
He can barely handle a couple of beers.
We give him a hard time about it sometimes. 🕺

I mean, unless we're talking about something else being black—not the wine...🤔

Just some PTSD from talking about booze, nothing major. 😬

Honestly, those are the kind of people I love. I want folks who, the second they see someone cracking open a beer, feel this sudden, desperate urge to flash them photos of a cirrhotic liver just so they can make them spill the drink. 👍

Larry Diaz4, please, don't go overboard here. I mean, who is actually bothering you? Personally, I haven't touched a drop of alcohol in twenty-five years, and I can assure you, nobody has been hounding me about it. I'm honestly not sure what you're getting at. I simply stated that I don't drink and that I'm sober, and that was the end of the conversation.

This is total BS. A glass of wine isn't gonna give anyone cirrhosis. 🙂

Honestly, I miss having a drink here and there. I’ve got some pretty good stories from back in my college days. 😁

That’s it. I’m done with the booze. It’s nothing but training from here on out. A new me. Maybe once a month if there's a massive celebration, but that's about it. ☕

Larry Diaz4, what's all this talk about liver cirrhosis? I mean, if you actually know where your limit is, understand why you're drinking, and realize how much is reasonable, then it isn't really an issue.
The real problem is that most people just have zero self-control—take my old high school classmate, for instance, who used to get absolutely wasted every single time.

Lately, I’ve only been getting properly hammered maybe five times a year—not much compared to before, when my old lady wouldn't even let me step foot out of the house.
Now, I'm really feeling it. The next day, I'm just slurping down some Campbell's soup and staring at the kitchen counter where someone scribbled "you're a mess" on a napkin while I've got this massive tension headache making my head feel like it's in a vice.
I'll just go sit outside with a Paulaner and a gin.

You're definitely headed in the right direction—honestly, I'm proud of you 🙂
You've realized where you went wrong, and that's what really matters. 👍

Dammit. Being a designated driver is a death sentence. You spend the whole night chauffeuring people around, listening to drunk idiots ramble, and you can't even shut your brain off because everything feels like a total blur. Being a DD is basically 🙂

I'm right there with you on the nofap thing. It feels like a dead end... you just end up crashing and burning.
