I’m asking the admins to please step in and stop the moderator master from constantly picking on me in front of everyone else. This kind of behavior basically gives other users a green light to insult and attack people without
any consequences.
On page 91 of the chainsaw thread
My post (#1809) was no different from anyone else's; I was just sharing my own experience and opinion, just like everyone else does.
Then this user @elkobron starts acting like some kind of expert mechanic, which kicks off a pointless argument. That back-and-forth goes all the way until post #1817, where @mr.ivek starts attacking me for no reason at all.
Right after that, he follows up by trying to explain my "character" to the rest of the community
I reported that post and waited for a response from the moderator. I explained why it was an issue and even said if I actually broke any rules, I’d take whatever penalty comes my way.
But the moderator's response was basically an invitation for everyone reading those posts to dogpile on the same people he's targeting, all without getting banned themselves.
I really don't think it's right or fair for a moderator to act this way. It feels like he's just abusing his power and making threats for no reason. He has the authority to hand out warnings or bans like anyone else, but that doesn't seem to be the goal here. I'm just asking for some clarity on why he's treating me like this.

What's up, Napoleon basically saidL'etat c'est moi. And honestly, it’s the exact same deal in the digital world: you either play along or you just walk away. It's like when they were forcing everyone to follow those ridiculous social distancing rules during COVID-19. You either deal with it or you're out.

Look, you weren't even asked for your input, and your take on how I handled my complaint regarding Amtrak goes against everything this forum stands for. I'm still waiting on an official response to my appeal.
The first time you chimed in was here:
Can you actually explain why you feel the need to jump into my private appeals?
Honestly, seeing you get all hyped up about enrolling Marion says a lot about what some people think they can get away with here, and I'm just not okay with it. You can use those connections for your own gain elsewhere, but this is a forum.

Since I haven't heard back from the higher-ups regarding my appeal, I'm left feeling like the moderator in question gave an answer that seems way too cozy with one of the users I actually called out in my complaint.

I’d suggest that management puts moderators into a separate group specifically to handle user reports and grievances. They can still join in on the discussions just like any other regular member, but keep the enforcement stuff separate.
