I need some help regarding a moderator, a master who’s basically banning me from posting on certain threads unless I follow his specific whims—which doesn't seem to align with any actual forum rules, right?

Can you please look into this specific post:

The master deleted all my replies and even gave me a strike, which I've already appealed. There's nothing left to read, and honestly, it just feels unfair and unprofessional.

Meanwhile, the master lets guys like Bob4 and Lee Champa mock me openly. These posts stay up as a perfect example of how things aren't equal here and how some people clearly get special treatment.

I reported this post: because it's pure mockery and breaks the community guidelines, so I'm calling on the moderators to step in.
Why is stuff like this allowed? It's not even a discussion anymore; it's just people taking shots at someone.

In this specific case, we were talking about new techniques for coupling and troubleshooting issues that another user had asked about.
The problem is the master doesn't actually understand hydraulic coupling, flow rates, water temperatures, primary and secondary loops, hydraulic distributors, or anything else involved in a central heating system. He hasn't bothered to learn from the countless engineering manuals posted here, and his lack of knowledge is ruining the discussions—especially since he uses it to shut me and others out of the conversation, whether directly or indirectly.

I’m not going to try to lecture anyone on the technical side of things here, since I’m definitely not an expert in that field.

But look, back in that last thread, the mod actually gave you a seriously impressive amount of freedom within "their" specific sub-forum—honestly, that’s more autonomy than most mods ever bother to grant.

In this particular post of yours, the guidelines laid out are actually pretty thorough and fair.

Think of it this way: if everyone else is sitting in a restaurant ordering from a fixed menu or picking something off the à la carte list, but you decide the table setting or how the food is served just isn't quite hitting the mark for you, you’re being given your own private booth. You even get your own little kitchenette where you can whip up whatever you want, using your own recipes and spices, and if anyone else wants a taste of your cooking, they’re more than welcome to join you.

That kind of level of liberty and democratic spirit is something you rarely see around here, whether we're talking about these types of online forums or even in broader American society.

So, honestly, I don't see anything wrong with how the mod handled things with you, considering everything I just mentioned.

If anything...

I honestly really dig this comment. I’ve realized that whenever Marion starts posting after 7:00 PM, things get interesting—I'm trying to find the right word here, but since I'm no psychologist, let's just say they get spicy. Anyway, regarding the whole restaurant situation instead of that soup of the day nonsense, I didn't just pick a different table; I actually walked out and headed straight to the buffet over at the nearby Chili's.
Cheers to that.

Other people's input can actually help solve things. If you don't fully grasp the issue, you shouldn't be stopping others from discussing it. Your point is fair, but the moderator, a craftsman who deleted my posts, basically violated the rights I was trying to protect.
Actually, in the last discussion, the moderator gave you a seriously impressive amount of freedom on the PPDF section they manage—which honestly isn't common for most mods.
In this specific post, the guidelines provided were super detailed and fair.
Think of it like this: if everyone is eating at the same restaurant from a set menu or à la carte, but for some reason you feel the table setup or the food doesn't suit your taste, you're given a private table. You even get your own little kitchenette where you can cook for yourself or host guests using your own recipes and spices.

That kind of freedom and democratic approach is pretty rare to see online these days, whether it's on local forums or across the US.

The way the moderator, a craftsman, has treated me personally over the last 18 months tells me they aren't acting in good faith regarding this proposal.
I just believe in equal rights for all members. That’s what comes with being a member. Anything that follows the rules is fine, and if the mod acts outside of them, I have every right to speak up.

So, looking at everything mentioned, I don't see any issues with how the moderator handled you.

On the contrary...

There’s zero reason for my comments on this thread to be removed, especially since they haven't done anything about the other user I reported. My questions are still hanging there without answers.
Thanks for getting back to me regardless.
