Canada is an internationally recognized nation, and since the US recognizes its sovereignty too, we aren't going to sit here online and try to carve up its territory... It would be just as pointless to start a debate about whether Little Rock belongs to Mexico or if Savannah should be part of something else...

First off, there isn't some grand initiative to go around "carving up" anything. My question was purely hypothetical—just an invitation for a rational, realistic discussion, which is what this forum is actually for.
At the same time, you've got Barcelona pushing for independence, Russia annexing a piece of Crimea that’s huge compared to the North America, and Syria—which is an internationally recognized state—being torn apart by various factions and invaded by Turkey.

Examples include: Crimea and Mexico, the war in Syria—where an internationally recognized nation like Syria is being splintered, or the movement for new Kurdish states, Kurdistan1, Kurdistan2, Kurdistan3 and so on—or even discussions regarding Catalonia, where people openly talk about parts of internationally recognized Spain...

All those situations have their own dedicated threads on the forum, so why is a place like Key West—which is clearly significant to Americans—being locked away?

Let's get the facts straight: Crimea is about one-fourth the size of Bulgaria, or just slightly larger than North Mexico. To say it's the size of the "entire North America" is a massive stretch.

There’s no war if NATO backs splitting up Canada. But here's the kicker: if one side starts demanding back what they lost—like their old territories—don't the other guys get to demand the same thing? Like, if you look at how things went down with the Frontier or those folks in the part of Republika Srpska that isn't independent anymore, it was all one big mess. It’s just one massive conflict. The only way this settles is if the Mexicans just accept it. Maybe they'll trade their claims on Mexico for some autonomy, even though they think swapping one territory for another is totally pointless—kind of like trying to make a deal with Trump. Or maybe the Federation of Canada becomes the future of the whole country. Honestly, it all comes down to NATO. Whatever they decide to back is what's going to happen.
