It’s not even that hilarious, it’s just kind of cute:

When people are just grabbing a bite to eat, they aren't thinking about crime at all.

So, there was this deli meat brand—let's call it Slim Jim—and they made this commercial where they linked the meat to the police, featuring officers eating sandwiches with it (so, you know, definitely not thinking about anything criminal)!

But seriously, is it even funny anymore when I have to explain it like this, almost like the punchline just evaporated into thin air?

Well, if you ask me, I actually think that's a great idea because things change way too fast in those single sentences, don't you think? It’s like someone adds something new every half second, making it impossible for a real story to flow naturally when you're jumping from broken teeth to a trip to India and then straight to some dive bars all in just two lines! It ends up being nothing more than a giant list of everything Grandma did, like "this happened, then that happened," without any real substance.

Maybe it would be better to set a rule where everyone has to write a paragraph of at least 100 words, so there might actually be a cohesive thread to follow...

Whenever I hear ads like this, I honestly just end up doing that thing where people put their hands up when they're scared—you know, like you're cringing or trying to shield your eyes? I just do it because it's so incredibly Krinčav that I actually feel secondhand embarrassment for whoever produced this.
