Four games kicked off at 7:00 PM last night, and I’ve already tallied four touchdowns 😁
With thirty seconds left on the clock, I was feeling pretty good. Then, of course, the Giants pull off a touchdown with only 30 seconds remaining to force overtime. But even that wasn't enough, because then we get the Miami Miracle vol.2 😂 and those incredible Bengals rack up 16 points in a mere thirty seconds 😁

That’s exactly how it played out last year, kind of like when you think you've got a handle on things only for the rules to flip on you. Starting this season, though, they aren't handing out points just for making it into overtime.

It was set up that way last year, but that was under a different manager who couldn't step up this time around. Now that silentpanther7 has taken the reins, she's running things by her own playbook from day one. It feels a bit silly to try and flip the script now; honestly, it’s more about respecting the work she put in and just rolling with her rules.

At the start of the season, there was a question regarding overtime and a proposal not to award points for them, so that's how it was decided. There isn't some deep, hidden reason.
To be honest, I don't recall if points were awarded last year or not, but this season we started with this rule from day one.
It makes zero sense to change the rules now at the end of the season; if you want to start awarding points next season, fine by me.
