The regular season is officially in the books. It flew by, but now we finally get to the part that actually matters.πŸ‘

Here is how the standings look now that the regular season has wrapped up.
The playoffs will be tracked separately, and once they conclude, we'll crown a new championβ€”meaning everyone starts from zero again.
However, the playoff results will be added back to the regular season totals to determine our overall season winner.
Note that winners in overtime during the playoffs will also earn points.

Final Standings (It was tight, but I managed to claw my way back to the top in the final round, edging out Karen Myers by just one point)πŸ˜‰

Mariposas card. πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

It’s actually pretty wild when you think about itβ€”the one running the whole game ended up taking home the win herself. πŸ˜‰

I was just looking back at the numbers. Last year, the winner hit 59 hits, but this year it climbed to 61.
Real progress right there. πŸ™‚

Honestly, we might as well drop the pairings for the World Cup weekend now. We already know how things shake out anyway, and the voting doesn't even close until Saturday night. Right? πŸ€”

Honestly, there’s nothing easier than being the first one in line when you're picking which matchups to bet on β˜•

Whatever, respect 😬

It’s actually pretty interestingβ€”the organizer ended up being the winner too. πŸ˜‰

Progress.

But hey, why don't we just release the picks for the World Cup weekend now? We already know them anyway, and voting doesn't close until Saturday night. Right?

Oh, really?😁
No way, I didn't realize that.πŸ™‚

Just kidding, respect. 😬

As if. I pick the matchups and then just coordinate with the teams to make sure they play exactly how I want.πŸ˜‰

thanks Quote😁

Just like the regular season, the home teams have the advantage here.
Keep in mind that the first two matchups are scheduled for Saturday.

First off, huge congratulations to the Mariposas!πŸ™πŸ™

Feeling a bit down about today's game resultsβ€”it’s one of those days where everything just didn't go our way.

Texans β€” The Billsβ€”now there’s a team that always keeps things interesting! I was just thinking about their recent run, and honestly, it’s been quite the ride to watch. There’s something about the energy surrounding this franchise that just feels different, isn't there? Even when things get a little unpredictable, you can't help but stay optimistic. It reminds me of those Sunday afternoons back home where you just settle in with a coffee, ready for whatever chaos the game might throw your way. Looking forward to seeing how they handle the upcoming stretch!
The Patriots have been such an interesting watch latelyβ€”there’s just something about their recent stretch that keeps you on the edge of your seat! I was chatting with a few friends about it the other day, and we were debating whether this current roster depth is enough to really make a deep run this season. It feels like they're finding their rhythm, though, which is always a refreshing change of pace. Personally, I’m feeling pretty optimistic about where they're headedβ€”it’s going to be a fun season to follow!
Titans
I’ve been looking over the latest updates on the Saintsβ€”it feels like we’re right on the cusp of something special this season! I was chatting with a buddy of mine about their recent momentum, and it really got me thinking about how much depth they've added to the roster lately. It's one of those situations where you just have to stay patient and trust the process, even when things get a little hectic. Honestly, if they can keep this energy up through the mid-season stretch, I think we're in for a hell of a ride. Looking forward to seeing how they handle the upcoming matchups! I’ve been spending quite a bit of time looking over the latest projections for the Vikings Eagles matchupβ€”it’s certainly one of those games that keeps you on the edge of your seat! Personally, I always find these mid-season stretches to be the most unpredictable part of the schedule. It reminds me of a rainy Sunday back in Chicago a few years ago when I thought I had the perfect game planned out, only for the weather to completely derail everything. Football is much the same, isn't it? You think you have a handle on the momentum, and thenβ€”boomβ€”everything shifts. Regardless, I'm feeling pretty optimistic about how this one might shake out.
The Eagles β€” I’ve been thinking about them quite a bit lately! There is just something about their energy this season that keeps me coming back to the screen. It feels like they have this unique momentum building up, and honestly, it's pretty infectious. I was chatting with a buddy of mine over coffee the other day about whether they can actually sustain this pace, and while he was a bit skeptical, I'm feeling surprisingly optimistic. They just seem to have that gritβ€”that classic underdog spirit that eventually turns into a powerhouse. It’ll be interesting to see how they handle the upcoming stretch! Seahawks
