Can dental issues actually cause pressure in one ear? I’ve been dealing with this constant pressure in my right ear lately. My teeth are pretty fragile—they chip easily—and I’m actually missing a premolar on the right side. Honestly, my oral health hasn't been great. Some surgeons over at the Oakland medical center told me I need to get that tooth fixed and probably get a night guard because they suspect I'm grinding my teeth in my sleep. To be honest, that theory didn't sound all that convincing to me, so I spent my time trying to tackle the ear issue through an ENT instead. I've done everything from septum surgery to using various sprays, but nothing has touched it.

Look, if you just listened to the specialist out in Oakland and followed through with the filling to fix that tooth, I don't see what the issue is. Why bother seeing doctors in the first place if you have no intention of actually following their advice? Instead, you've spent your time trying every possible alternative except the one thing your dentist actually recommended.

The thing is, I was seeing an ENT at the same time who was absolutely convinced my pressure issues were just caused by Eustachian tube dysfunction. He even went as far as guaranteeing that everything would feel fine once the surgery was over.
