Richard Walker38 said:Oh, please. Here’s the footage. In this frozen frame, Vettel's clear intention is to cut off his own teammate. There was absolutely no wheel locking or late braking involved, lol. At this exact millisecond, he is driving straight toward the left side just to force himself into Leclerc's line.

It's crystal clear from every possible angle. Vettel plays it aggressive, and he'll end up facing the consequences just like he always does.

Chill. Everything will settle itself in due time.

The only thing I actually agree with here is that he was clearly thinking about Max. He rushed to dive ahead of Leclerc just to wedge his car between him and Max, trying to block any potential attack since Max was already breathing down his neck. Honestly, it would’ve been way smarter if he’d just given his teammate a bit more breathing room. By doing that, he actually gave Max less work to do, essentially neutralized his own teammate, and ended up screwing himself over in the process later on.

If he’d just left a little more space, Leclerc might not have even overtaken him—they probably would've just ended up side-by-side. Since the kid is clearly playing for the team, he likely would've let him through and then jumped right into the fight with Max. That way, he’d have a teammate acting as a sort of "bodyguard" to help hold the line and slow Max down.

And this part?

Is that smoke coming out of the cameraman's ass or what? 🤷

Like I said, you're trolling hard and honestly, it's getting pretty boring...
Do your homework and come back for the next race. Until then, 👋

I watched the video, but I totally missed that part.

As usual, you dodged every single question and showed off that enviable level of class in how you communicate. When you run out of actual answers, the easiest thing to do is just tell someone they're talking nonsense or being a troll.

Maybe I’m just an idiot, because I still haven't learned how to deal with the way you constantly bury your head in the sand regarding Vettel's stupidity.

Like I said, you're trolling quite poorly and honestly, it's getting tedious...
Get some better takes and come back for the next race. Until then, 👋

Don't try to troll me with that smoke nonsense; that slight block didn't mess up his entry at all, and there was absolutely no reason for him to go that wide toward the curbs to get to Leclerc.

Chill. It’ll all work itself out eventually. Just take it easy.

Give me a break. 😳
Don't make me bring a wooden ruler to the waitress at the local pub.

Well, you’re gonna find out exactly what kind of beatdown you're in for. Once he measures you and realizes those five inches of yours aren't even close to twenty-two, he's gonna lay you out. You'll be feeling it in your spine.
Man, you absolutely wrecked her with that subway ride. Don't even bother trying to talk to her anymore—you're dead in the water. ☕

Of course you missed it. It’s practically invisible. 🙂
Go see an eye doctor immediately.

If you didn't catch that, I'm surprised you even saw the cars on the track...

You handled that just like you always do—dodging the issue while maintaining an incredibly impressive level of class. Honestly, when you run out of actual answers, the easiest move is just to tell someone they’re talking nonsense or acting like a troll.

Maybe I'm just the idiot here, but I still haven't figured out how you can constantly turn a blind eye to Vettel's nonsense without getting bored.

Vettel followed the racing line, so how can they possibly blame him for that?
Leclerc dove into the corner way too late, right after Vettel had already claimed his line.
The way this turn is shaped, Vettel shifts left right as he enters, which allows him to nail the ideal racing line.
It’s easiest to pull up right alongside the driver when they least expect it. You just slide in there and tell them, "Hey, in that tiny 0.2-second window, I was right next to you—you basically had to let me pass."
That’s the trouble when you try to follow racing through a screen. You just can't feel the actual rhythm and flow of the corners.

between her cracking you over the head with that ruler and you being too terrified to even deal with a mosquito anymore ☕

🎉

Anyway, where's my Pilatus? Maminjo is going to pay me back for this!

I'd seriously suggest booking an appointment with an eye doctor right away.

If you didn't catch that, I'm shocked you even noticed the cars on the track in the first place...

He would've nailed it if he'd taken the corner normally, but instead, he swung right and cut him off hard right there.

Richard Walker38 said:A driver should have taken the corner normally, but he veered right and cut in aggressively here.

From what I can gather, you are attempting to suggest two things at once:

1. There is an ideal racing line for qualifying.

2. There is an ideal racing line for the race itself.

He could have squeezed him a little less against the edge, just to give his teammate some breathing room and help them both leave Max behind.
Vettel is holding the line just fine, but honestly, it’s looking a bit too aggressive if you ask me.

"A slight lock-up," you say...

Don't give me that crap. You can't tell me you don't see it—the tire is locking up, hard, and for a long time too...

Just tell me you don't see how Ricky brakes, too.😁

I honestly don't get why people are still stressing over this... if Sebastian Vettel were to accidentally run over someone's family on a crosswalk, he'd probably be out there defending them himself...

Look, I’m not out here defending Sebastian Vettel. I’ve never been his biggest fan myself. This is just about using some common sense.
According to certain people, Vettel should have just compromised his line through the corner to let Charles Leclerc pass... but for what? When he enters the turn, Vettel is clearly ahead and taking the standard racing line. The tires and brakes aren't up to temperature yet, and the car is hauling a full load of fuel. It’s only natural that he’d use the full width of the track, just like anyone else would.

👍

Maybe it’s because it’s the first race, or maybe it's just fear of a bad season and a boring race itself—people are just fighting ghosts and talking nonsense. 🍿
