Having trouble logging in?

So, here’s how the whole thing went down

I was messing around with the crew over in the Science forum, and I ended up racking up two strikes with a massive amount of points, which eventually led to a permanent ban due to the accumulation. On top of that, there was this threat that I might face an investigation by the FBI if I picked up even one more strike over there.

After working things out with the administration, they were kind enough to wipe one of my strikes and lift the permanent ban. I gave them my word that I wouldn't post in the Science section anymore, and that was supposed to be the end of it.

About five or six days passed, and then suddenly, I realized I can't even see the Science forum unless I log out entirely. I guess maybe they went ahead and issued that investigation against me anyway, even though our deal was that it would only happen if I kept posting, trolling, or just being generally disruptive.

Now, in order to actually see what's going on in the Science section, I have to log out, which is just super inconvenient.

But honestly, that isn't even the biggest issue.

The real headache is that whenever I try to log back in, I feel like I have to enter my username and password ten times before the forum actually accepts me. It happens on my phone, on my computer, through Tapatalk, everywhere.

It basically thanks you for logging in and then just dumps me right back onto the guest homepage. So, I guess I just sit there typing my credentials fifteen times until it finally works.

So, I was wondering if someone could please just remove that fucking investigation if it's going to make things this glitchy. I mean, I really won't be posting there anyway until someone in charge gives me the green light.

Or, if there's some other way to fix this, I don't know... but yeah, having to log in a hundred times is such a huge pain.

I did send a PM to the moderator, but they clearly haven't seen it yet, and I didn't quite grasp what was happening with the login issues at the time.

If you want to get your partial access revoked, you can submit a request to the SEC after at least six months have passed. Just keep in mind that the request isn't guaranteed; it’s ultimately up to the subforum moderators to decide.

As for everything else: yeah, once you've had your partial removed, there’s really nothing left for you to look for on that subforum—not even worth reading.

Regarding your login issue (though you haven't actually provided any useful details to help fix it: are you using a PC or a phone, which browser are you running, or what steps have you already taken to troubleshoot?): try clearing your cache and temporary files, restart your browser, and make sure to check the "remember me" box during your first login. Once you log out and try again, your username and password should be automatically suggested to you.

I’ve gone ahead and cleared out all my cookies, my browsing history, and pretty much everything else—but honestly, it feels like nothing has changed at all.

On my phone, I’m mostly using Dolphin and Tapatalk.

The little padlock icon stays active the whole time in both browsers, too.

I just realized that it actually seems to log me in on the homepage sometimes, but then the moment I try to open a specific thread, it tells me I'm logged out again.

That happens to me all the time too. I usually just deal with it by checking the "remember me" box during login so it doesn't boot me out every single time I change pages.
