I wanted to ask whether this kind of provocation is actually permitted on this forum.

The provocations definitely landed—and frankly, I agree that I’m being sanctioned for insults too (though my opinion of that individual remains absolutely bottom-tier).

I realize I messed up by bringing personal matters onto a public forum—I genuinely thought I was dealing with a decent human being.

But what I really want to know is: because of my own lapse in judgment, am I just expected to sit here and take this kind of garbage? Is there any actual rule in place to protect users from such brutal provocations, or is this just how things work now?

All I’m asking is for everyone to actually read this entire thread from start to finish. Personally, I’m not out here calling for any kind of ban on this user. Even though she’s thrown the most vile insults my way and dumped a massive wall of nonsense on me—clearly because she struggles with basic reading comprehension—it would be hypocritical of me to demand discipline when this sub is already overflowing with unmoderated trash.

As you can see, I repeatedly gave her the chance to take accountability and clear up the confusion. If it’s still not clicking for you all, I’m happy to explain it right here, though I feel like the situation is pretty obvious. I had zero intention of being malicious, and I certainly had no desire to mock anyone's personal tragedy.

Thanks.

Roger Cooper91 said:And there she goes—that lying queen of drama is back to clinging to me again, even though we are clearly over and done with. 🥱

Roger Cooper91 said:Do you even realize how monstrous you look right now? You’re essentially weaponizing your own mother’s death just because you ran out of actual arguments—all because offering a sincere apology for misinterpreting my words would be too much of an ego blow for you to handle. Honestly, I’d be too ashamed of myself to behave like this—dragging the memory of my loved ones through the mud just to cover up a lie.

Roger Cooper91 said:No, I don't find it right—it just doesn't feel right to me—to use my mother's death like this.

Roger Cooper91 said:Besides, you’re the one who kicked this off by banking on that whole "smug satisfaction" effect—hiding behind the excuse of your late mother just to avoid having to actually tell the truth for once.

Roger Cooper91 said:And yeah, you completely glossed over the chemotherapy part—not that I need you to explain it to me, since I know firsthand exactly how brutal that bile-inducing nausea can be—but fine, let's just lean into the misery and crank up the "sniffle effect" if that's what we're doing.

Please, stop taking our conversation out of context by selectively cherry-picking my posts and rearranging them out of order.

Leave it to the moderators to do their jobs; they need to read this entire thread carefully. They should see how you completely lost it just because I was skeptical about how you could possibly be qualified to make diagnoses as a child—which led to you pushing dangerous theories about medical treatments—and how you’ve since pivoted to spreading insane rumors about me and hurling insults.

Like I said before, I feel for your mother, but I am not going to let you smear my name and insult me while using her as a shield.

Let the moderators handle this—they need to actually read this entire thread carefully, starting from when you absolutely lost it just because I was skeptical about how a child could possibly be qualified to make medical diagnoses—which led to you pushing dangerous theories about medical treatments—and ever since then, you've been spewing insane nonsense about me and hurling insults.

I’ve said it before: my heart goes out to your mother, but I am not going to let you drag my name through the mud and insult me while hiding behind her memory.

This is exactly the kind of provocation I'm talking about—is there actually a rule on the books regarding this behavior?

Isn't that exactly what you're doing? Just take a look at my controversial post here:

And then observe how you immediately twisted my words and fabricated an entirely different meaning:

From there, it’s just a continuous cycle. You persist in playing the victim, whether intentionally or by accident, because you refuse to grasp the actual point I've made—a point I have already clarified several times. You simply don't care. Instead, you play the martyr to try and turn everyone against me. Let me be clear: I haven't insulted her family. Again, I am sorry for the tragedy, and I am certainly not gloating over it, but she is blaming me simply because I dared to ask a question. My grievance is that she is weaponizing her personal tragedy to defame me.

So, here is the reality for the moderators: this user is relentlessly trying to manipulate the direction of this discussion through pure emotion, and it's frankly disgusting. That is exactly why I called her out, and I only did so after being subjected to a barrage of insults. Unfortunately, I see this kind of emotional parasitism all too often in public, and occasionally in my private life as well.

She seems to be expecting the "Diana effect"—where everyone just shuts their brains off and folds—but that isn't going to work on me.

If she apologizes for the malicious things she's attributed to me, I'll be willing to concede that she was just acting out of pure emotion. Until then, I will assume she is doubling down on these accusations on purpose.

Unless the moderators require further clarification from me, I'm done here.

I have no idea how the moderators are going to handle this—and frankly, I don't care to influence them one way or the other. This isn't my forum to run, so they can let it be whatever they want it to be, regardless of my opinion.

As far as I’m concerned, I could never forgive this. I don't care if they apologize a hundred times; there is absolutely no justification for a sane human being to write something like that—honestly, I don't even have a word in my vocabulary to describe it. I've dealt with insults, people jumping down my throat, and plenty of vulgarity before—and I've moved past all of that without needing an apology—but this? This is non-negotiable.

I truly cannot fathom what kind of person fails to see the difference here, or chooses to pretend they don't. That was my thought when I mentioned that I knew more about this than this individual ever will—even at eight years old—because no decent person would ever say something like this, whether they were eight or eighty-eight. And certainly not regarding my own chemotherapy treatments. It really shows just how little brainpower was behind those comments.

Regardless, my stance remains the same: a normal person would never say something like that, no matter the circumstances. And yet, they keep doubling down on the same accusations, just softening the language slightly—swapping out "dead mother" for "emotions" now.

—But for what? Just so they don't have to admit they know less about chemo than I did when I was eight? (Which, for the record, is something I never said and never intended to imply.) That's their motivation? Well, if that's considered "normal" behavior, then bravo.

At the end of the day, a person always reveals their true character.

We all have certain triggers, things that just hit a raw nerve, and I suppose when you're looking at a girl who lost her mother at only eight years old, it’s hard not to feel the weight of that. It's a genuine tragedy, really. Given everything she went through at such a formative age, I imagine it’s quite easy to see why she reacted the way she did.
I suppose it’s all quite ungrateful to bring up an event like that to someone, regardless of how you frame it. If the context is even remotely uncomfortable or painful—which, by all appearances, was certainly the case for her—then bringing it up feels like a bit of a low blow.

Look, if we’re operating under the assumption that the forum rules apply equally to everyone—and I don't think there's any room for debate on that point—then I just don't see any logical reason why Nicole Johnson20 should be facing any kind of ban at all. As wanderingdriver17 seems to suggest, it feels a bit excessive, but to say she deserves a permanent ban? I guess that's a bit of a stretch, really. I mean, he wouldn't even be looking at a yellow card in that situation.

So, how exactly would one go about implementing sanctions in a case like this? I mean, it’s a complicated question, isn't it? I suppose there are several ways to look at it, but finding a solution that actually carries weight without causing unintended fallout seems like a bit of a minefield. Maybe we need to rethink the whole approach to enforcement from the ground up. This whole cycle of harassment and personal attacks... it's just exhausting. I suppose I’m asking a bit of a rhetorical question here, isn't that right? It’s one of those things that feels like it could be anything depending on how you look at it, but if we're talking about something that genuinely sustained itself for more than a month straight... well, I guess it depends on whether we're talking about a habit, a streak, or perhaps just a particularly stubborn bout of bad weather. Maybe it was a specific project at work, or perhaps a fitness goal someone set for themselves back in January. Or, if we're being a bit more philosophical, maybe it was just that feeling of seasonal gloom that seems to hang over certain parts of the country for weeks on end. It’s hard to say without a bit more context, really. I mean, what exactly are we aiming for here? What was it that actually managed to hold steady for that long? Is the Cancer Treatment thread closed specifically because of that?
Mind you, this is really just... A tiny little piece. I didn't get a chance to attach those insults earlier because, well, they've already been scrubbed from the thread in the meantime.
And so on. Bye, bye!I should probably mention that, despite all the timely reports being filed, Not a single one of these posts has been flagged—not even with a yellow card.It looks like some of them were just deleted.

To give you a little more clarity, I’ve pulled together some recent examples:
I suppose I should probably introduce myself properly to those of you who haven't seen my posts around before. My name is Biljka112. kaže:
You're absolutely right, gnu. Honestly, I don't know why anyone would even bother trying to praise this absolute clown. It feels like a complete waste of breath, really. I have to wonder who on earth is out there actually claiming that you can treat hepatitis with nothing more than some turmeric and bell peppers. I mean, really? It sounds like one of those wild wellness trends you see floating around social media, where people try to swap actual medicine for kitchen spices. I guess some folks just want to believe there's a simple, natural fix for something so serious, but honestly, it feels a bit reckless to suggest.

I suppose I should probably weigh in on this, given how much everyone seems to be buzzing about it lately. It’s one of those situations where you feel like you have to say something, even if what you have to say might just end up being a bit of a lukewarm observation. I’ve been looking over the details, and honestly, I’m still trying to wrap my head around the sheer scale of it all. It feels a bit overwhelming, doesn't it? Maybe that's just me, though. I tend to get caught up in the minutiae while everyone else is looking at the big picture. Still, there’s something about the way this is unfolding—it feels almost too predictable, yet somehow entirely unexpected at the same time. It's a strange paradox, I guess. I was reading some of the points brought up by Nicole Johnson20 earlier, and while I see where they're coming from, I can't help but feel that we might be overlooking a few key variables. It’s easy to get swept up in the momentum of an argument, but perhaps we should take a breath and look at the underlying mechanics a little more closely. I mean, if we don't account for the shifting landscape here in the States, aren't we just building on sand? Anyway, I don't want to sound like I'm lecturing anyone. I'm just thinking out loud. It feels like we're standing at a bit of a crossroads, and while the path forward isn't entirely clear, I suspect the answer lies somewhere in the middle ground between the extremes we're seeing right now. Or maybe I'm just overthinking things. It's hard to tell sometimes. kaže:
Were you one of the biggest jerks in the room when everyone was talking about that poor soul who passed away? Yes, you were. And do I have the right to call you out on it? I suppose I do. Does that somehow make you a bad person? I mean, I guess it depends on how you look at it, but I'm not sure there's a simple answer to that.

I suppose I should probably weigh in here, though I’m not entirely sure if my perspective carries much weight given how much we've already covered. It feels like we’re circling the same drain, doesn't it? I mean, I guess there’s a certain logic to the current direction, but I can't help but feel we might be overlooking the broader implications of what's actually happening on the ground. It’s a bit like watching a slow-motion collision in a busy intersection in Chicago—you see it coming, you know it's going to be messy, yet everyone just seems to keep driving as if nothing is out of the ordinary. Maybe I’m being overly cynical, but there’s an undeniable sense that the pieces aren't quite fitting together the way they were promised. Anyway, I'll leave it at that for now. I'm curious to see if anyone else feels this same creeping sense of uncertainty, or if it's just me overthinking things again. kaže:
And here I go again, because I really feel the need to say it one more time: I’ll never forget all those people who were sitting there, making jokes and mocking the death of that young woman. Honestly, you people are just absolute trash.

I suppose I should mention this just for the sake of transparency, though in the grand scheme of things, it’s probably pretty trivial. Personally, I don't feel like there's any real need to hand out sanctions here; I mean, this kind of behavior is perfectly acceptable within a forum setting, wouldn't you agree? 🙂

Ultimately, when it comes to the Alternative subforum, It really feels like we’re just circling the same drain over and over again. At the end of the day, everything keeps tracing back to that one fundamental issue: we don't have any moderators in place. I guess it’s no surprise that things have been spiraling like this ever since the vacancy opened up, but it’s honestly exhausting to watch the same patterns repeat themselves day after day.
Honestly, we've already gone down that rabbit hole quite extensively. We all know exactly where that road leads, so I think it's probably best if we just leave that particular can of worms closed for now. 🥱

Your pathetic little intro would actually make sense if it wasn't coming from someone who spends their whole time launching tirades against the Libertarian Party, organizing entire groups of like-minded people through the Republican Party, trolling threads, making jokes about the deceased, breaking rules, and insulting basically everyone—whether it's directly or through those buddies who conveniently show up to back you up every single time (or maybe they're just your alt accounts).
You're a mess, Ibrahim. 👎

Ethan Barrett22 said:Look, if the forum rules are applied equally to all users—and there's really no doubt they are—then there isn't any reason at all for Lleena to be under any kind of ban (as you claim, DK-RH), let alone a permanent one, or even just getting a yellow card.

If we're actually following the rules, the person who lashed out at a guy (who had politely asked her a question because he thought she knew more about cancer and chemo at age 8 than he did as an adult with his own experience) with everything she said , acting like a completely unhinged lunatic all night long toward anyone who dared to ask her a question or comment, definitely deserves a timeout. But more importantly, in the real world, she needs to see a doctor.
What's truly disgusting is that you and your little group were right there "validating" her and cheering her on while she went wild. It's a tragedy, really.

Ethan Barrett22 said:Because how should someone be sanctioned then...
just whining and moaning for the thirtieth time in a row...

The sanctions should start with you! You've spent over ten different threads crying about the lack of moderation and how people are being mean to you. In every single thread that exists, you're just waiting to drop other people's quotes so you can hide your own nonsense.
Yeah, I said you're all trash for openly mocking someone's death right here—and you actually had the nerve to ask to see the obituary! Can you even manage to write three decent sentences in a comment? Or do you want me to list more of your "greatest hits"? You know them pretty well yourself, Ibrahim... 🙂

Honestly, some of your previous "contributions" have actually crossed the line into criminal territory—like practicing medicine without a license and inciting illegal acts. Your posts fly in the face of every single rule on this forum, everything the Libertarian Party stands for, and every direct decision made by the moderators and admins (like when they had to shut down that thread about treating cancer with raw food).

It’s pretty obvious there’s a massive lack of common sense happening here. If your threads have been nuked over ten times already because you won't stop picking fights with the mods or derailing discussions about famous cancer recoveries, then please, just catch on! Threads have titles for a reason. You're supposed to stay on topic, not hijack everything to push your own nonsense and "testimonials." Go ahead and gather your little cult at home and dance around in a puddle of blended spinach if you want—that's your business—but please, just stop destroying any chance of a coherent conversation. Do you really think people don't notice you lurking through every thread despite having put everyone else on your ignore list while using your "followers" to comment? 🤦🤦

If you can't wrap your head around that, maybe sign up for an evening class; they might be able to explain it to you.
They might even teach you some basic science, which you clearly lack, making you a total laughingstock. Because of your trolling, you've driven away both the people looking for alternative options and the ones who actually want to discuss them. Your entire "contribution" to the raw food discussions is basically just a few recipes that say, "throw it in a blender and drink it." And when asked why, you can't give a single logical explanation. Or maybe you're pouring that sauce over, I don't know, raw rice or raw pasta? (Because if we're talking raw food, they shouldn't be cooked, yet you mention veganism but act like eggs aren't an issue—interesting!) So don't be surprised when people mock you, even the people who actually advocate for a raw diet.

I bet this thread will probably get shut down tomorrow as soon as those usual suspects jump in to comment... it's happened with countless threads before, and it'll happen again. But seriously, you clog up every single discussion with the exact same stuff, simply because you clearly don't know how to do anything else. 👎
