The whole situation with Red Bull Racing and Honda is actually pretty interesting...
It’s hard to make a fair comparison to last year since they had a solid duo in Carlos Sainz and Kvyat back then, whereas this year we’ve got these two kids who haven't exactly proven they can hang with the big boys yet...
I mean, Hartley was only 0.030 off knocking Esteban Ocon out in Q1 to make it into Q2—which would have been a massive achievement for Red Bull Racing last season...

And honestly, they aren't even that far behind McLaren (who were absolutely destroying them by the end of last season), even with this totally inexperienced lineup thrown together at the last minute. It feels like even Red Bull Racing doesn't really know where they pulled these guys from...🤣

All in all, Honda is performing way above expectations so far...👍

Hamilton gave him a loud and clear response along the lines of "I managed to put together a great lap" 🙂, and honestly, that was it. No need for any more philosophy.

Paddy says the goal is just to finish the race with both cars intact.

For God's sake, look at Williams. They absolutely wrecked them. Might as well just open up a damn driving school at this point.

It’s presented as this big prestige move, when in reality, Toyota is actually just slowing down—it's such a perfect example of that.

Staying up late just to watch the biggest driver and team fraud pull off yet another victory. Not happening. Formula 1 has gone so far downhill that it’s become completely unwatchable.

Honda is sitting right near the back, just like I predicted in my forecast. We'll have to see if they can actually make some gains as the season goes on.

last weekend I rolled into the house at 5 PM, but the week before that I didn't get in until 9😬

I think I'll skip the wake-up call tomorrow morning. I just can't bring myself to watch this boring Mercedes-Benz anymore—maybe a replay on SPTV later tonight will be enough.

If nothing else, the Oilers actually have some history behind them. They aren't one of those manufactured squads like Mercedes-Benz, who basically say bye-bye the second they lose their first title. Honestly, it’s common knowledge why Mercedes-Benz decided to jump back into F1 in the first place.

Because they had the inside track on everything regarding PJ two years before anyone else. Plus, they had a sweetheart deal with Berni. Let’s not kid ourselves here—Mercedes-Benz doesn't step into anything unless a guaranteed profit and massive success are already on the table.
