Hygiene habits of American males and females

I’m honestly not sure where else to take this question. I’ve noticed that so few homes, or even hotels, seem to have a bidet installed. Ever since I was a kid staying at my grandma's place, she always taught me that washing up is just part of the routine, and honestly, I can't really imagine a scenario where I wouldn't want to stay fresh. It actually makes traveling a bit of a headache sometimes because I end up having to hop in the shower or, in the absolute worst-case scenario, rely on those wet wipes... which isn't ideal.

So, I'm curious—how many of you actually wash up after using the restroom (you know, the classic #2) and how many don't? What are your thoughts on why or why not?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging anyone here, I'm just genuinely interested in hearing everyone's take on the pros and cons...

Ever since I was a kid, washing up after using the bathroom has been standard practice for all the women in my family. Since we didn't have a bidet at home, I learned early on how to manage things over the bathtub. If I ever find myself stuck without the option to wash immediately, I always make sure to have wet wipes on hand. Honestly, nothing beats a quick rinse; just using paper always leaves me feeling less than clean.

I usually shower twice a day... once before work and once after... though sometimes I hit the restroom before my shift starts and other times it’s after... it's hard to say how it all fits together 😂
There’s a routine to it, I suppose. Whenever I have a major bathroom moment, I feel like I absolutely have to shower afterward...

I work in this little coffee shop where a lot of Muslim customers come in, and they tend to use water bottles in the men's room to wash up down there.
I honestly don't get the logic behind trying to clean yourself with just cold water from a bottle... it's almost like it doesn't even count as washing.
Just deal with it, go home, take a proper shower, and call it a day. 😁
