I was thinking of Speccy. You should give CPU-Z a shot instead.

As for the SSD, it’s performing exactly as expected; from what I can tell, you just plugged it in and called it a day. You still need to format it within Windows, though if you had actually installed Windows onto the drive itself, that part would already be taken care of.

Just install 64-bit Windows. Either Windows 7 or Windows 10.
With those specs, Windows 10 should run just fine.

I'll definitely get on that sometime today....

Looks like you haven't installed your graphics drivers yet. Once you get Windows 10 up and running, it should just grab them automatically.

Before you install Windows on your SSD, you might want to make sure AHCI mode is enabled in your BIOS.

You can totally run Windows 10 x64 on that setup without any hiccups. I’m running a pretty weak Intel Core 2 Duo paired with 4GB of DDR2 800, plus I don't even have an SSD, and my graphics card is a total relicβ€”just an old GeForce GTX series...

Actually, I was planning on installing it as soon as I get my hands on an SSD...

I’ll probably have to bump things up a bit myself over the next few yearsβ€”maybe grab another 4GB of RAM and a 64GB SSD. Honestly, that should be plenty since my Windows 10 install on the C: drive hasn't even hit 45GB, even after all those fresh updates... I bet I could probably get it back down to 35GB in a few days once Windows lets me run a proper cleanup on the last one.

Make sure you switch your BIOS to AHCI mode before you start installing Windows onto that SSD.

What exactly does AHCI mode do?

Everything installed perfectly. Now I just need to get used to Windows 10. It recognized everything exactly like you guys said and grabbed all the drivers without a hitch. Thanks, everyone.

Alexander Moore67 said:Replace that power supply immediately. It’s only putting out 240W on the +12V rail, and honestly, given its age, it's completely unreliable. My advice? Toss it!

Go-go. I have to admit, this power supply has served me well up until now. But lately, my PC has started shutting itself off randomly. It runs for maybe two minutes before just dying. Is it possible the PSU is the culprit? I'm leaning toward yes. Any recommendations on what to get for this ASUS motherboard?

You haven't set a specific budget yet, but if you're looking for value for money, this might be worth checking out:

crimsonstag84. This is the motherboard. Will it fit in this case?

The motherboard is an ASUS motherboard

It supports E-ATX, ATX, microATX, and ITX motherboards. Since yours is an ATX, you won't run into any issues at all.
