Yellow Cab tips?

I was wondering if anyone knows the cheapest way to get from the Chicago airport over to Madison Square Garden?
I already know that grabbing an Uber right at the terminal is a total rip-off.

You can grab a shuttle from the airport straight to the bus terminal, I think it’s $10. Once you’re at the station, just hop on the Blue Line; it’ll take you right to the stadium. A transit pass is about $1.25 for a thirty-minute ride.

As far as I know, that bus stops right by MoMA too—you don't even have to trek all the way to the station.

It didn't really work out for me. He went straight from the airport to the Greyhound station.

It wasn't working for me last time either. Honestly, maybe if someone actually bothered to ask ahead of time...

Thanks for all the input, everyone. Is there any way I could just arrange a private ride—like, someone to pick me up at the airport and drop me off right at the stadium on a set schedule? I wouldn't mind doing something unofficial if I could just figure out how to find a driver through an app or something like that.

Yeah, I did, but they told me they don't even run routes out to the airport.
