Can a moderator from one subforum penalize my posts in another?

I’ve been a regular on this forum for 17 years now.

2) For the first time ever, I’ve had an obsessive follower—someone who seems dedicated to shutting down my threads and posts (specifically moderator Bill Belichick)—penalize one of my posts in the "PDF Magic and Mysticism" section, even though he doesn't actually moderate that area.😲

3) I was actually under a ban for a little while starting this morning, but it looks like that’s been lifted.

4) The problem is, there hasn't been any explanation or apology offered; just total silence...

5) On a psychological level, I think I understand what's happening, but from a bureaucratic standpoint, I’m confused. Does a moderator really have the right to harass a user across different sections of the forum just because of some personal grudge?

Of course I can't moderate those PDFs; I lost track of which one I was looking at. As soon as I realized where I was and handed out the warning, I requested that the post be removed along with the ban. That’s already been handled, so your appeal doesn't really hold much water.

Technically, the move was justified—let's be real. That post was just a classic example of your habit of picking at the moderation team whenever you feel your ego is being bruised. You tend to nitpick things like title changes from years ago just to make a point. 🙄
Since commenting on the mods (especially in such a repetitive way—both generally and in this specific instance) is against the rules, there isn't much to debate here, regardless of what excuses you come up with or how you try to shift the blame onto others. 😉

Anyway, that's not my department. I stumbled in there by mistake. 🙂
