If you’re going to allow posts that play down the killing of innocent civilians just to justify the "evil" policies of the West-full, then this forum should also be open to posts that actually challenge that twisted logic, right?
Why was my post deleted where I explicitly called out that exact reasoning using a specific example from the US, quoting directly from a propaganda magazine used by extremists in the Middle East, which is being cited all over major American news sites !?

So they wiped my post from the United Kingdom thread last night. All because I asked if anyone from the UK could give me some insight into what the average Englishman actually thinks about the rising terrorism there and the surge of Islamic extremists parading through British streets with "Shariah for Britain" signs... I didn't insult anyone or discriminate, so I have no clue why posts like that get banned while others get a free pass. Apparently, talking about terrorism is just too much for some people to handle...

I don't know, I just finished reading your post—maybe they actually restored it.
As far as I'm concerned, I don't post all that often, but when I do, I make a point of staying respectful, being objective, and backing everything up with actual sources.
At the very least, I'd appreciate it if they had the decency to tell me why my post was nuked. Maybe I was a little too blunt regarding those people who seem to justify terrorism out of pure spite.

No, they just thought they were being "enlightened" about terrorism. Just because someone points out the common-sense fact that everything the West does in the Middle East makes it easier to recruit terrorists and breed fanatics doesn't mean they actually support terrorists or think terrorism is fine...

Your entire post is written with nothing but pure trolling from start to finish, dripping with a level of cynicism that just isn't warranted since nobody else here said anything even remotely close to what you're "responding" to. And if they actually did, you should just report the post, because regardless, relativizing terrorism isn't allowed here...

Anyway, if you have a card complaint, there’s a dedicated thread for that pinned at the top of the page. We can't respond to every single question about a deleted post because that happens all too often on this forum. I'm only replying now because you actually did get a card for that specific post...

I don't know what you're trying to get at here—there isn't even any substance to this post. Just a string of letters. If you have an actual point to make or some kind of argument to put forward, then go ahead and say it. Otherwise, you're just wasting everyone's time. says:
No, they just wanted to play the role of the "terror sympathizers." Look—just because someone points out the glaringly obvious, common-sense fact that everything the West does in the Middle East directly fuels terrorist recruitment and helps create fanatics, doesn't mean that person actually supports terrorists or thinks terrorism is okay. That’s just bad logic.

Your entire post is nothing but pure trolling from start to finish—it’s packed with a level of cynicism that just doesn't belong here, especially since nobody else on this forum has written anything even remotely close to what you claim to be "responding" to. If someone actually did say something like that, then just report the post. Either way, trying to play both sides when it comes to terrorism is absolutely not allowed.

Look, if you're looking to fight a disciplinary action, there’s already a dedicated thread for yellow card appeals pinned right at the top of the page. We can't just jump into every single inquiry about a deleted post—it happens all too often over in the Politics section, and we don't have the bandwidth to address every minor grievance. I'm only responding to you now because, let's be honest, you actually did get hit with a yellow card for that specific post.

Look, my mistake was that I didn't even realize I’d been hit with a yellow card. I’ve never actually dealt with one before, and honestly—since I was away on vacation—I completely missed the notification while scrolling through the forum on my phone. I didn't see the private message regarding the penalty. The last time I received a PM like that was two years ago.
Look, thanks for the explanation—even if I did waste everyone's time by opening this thread in the first place.
Regarding my trolling—I actually wanted to see if I was just imagining things, so I went back through the thread about the Bataclan. I distinctly remember seeing some people trying to downplay what happened there, which really rubbed me the wrong way. It wasn't the only time I've noticed that kind of attitude, but that was the specific moment I decided to step in and call out one of those posts.
It’s clearly not just me feeling this way—I’ve seen someone else lay it out exactly how I see it. Hey everyone. Regarding the tone that was dominating some of those posts back then:
I find it absolutely fascinating—in a deeply cynical sort of way—how some people still insist on pointing fingers at the colonial history of Western nations just to provide a convenient, indirect excuse for basically any aggressive move made against them. It’s like they think framing every single act of hostility as "justice" or "payback" for the past somehow legitimizes their current aggression toward those countries and their people. Honestly, it’s a tired tactic.

I’ve seen posts like this a million times before—honestly, it's getting exhausting. I really don't have the energy to go digging through Google without some kind of decent search engine just to find a quote to cite, especially since nobody around here actually reads them anyway.
And yeah, obviously I wasn't "responding" to any specific post—because how can you even respond to a thread where we're talking about potential American victims? Nobody’s actually going to have the guts to say it.That much is obvious. There is absolutely no way that’s happening—not even in theory based on some extremist outlet's propaganda about the North America, let alone if we were actually facing a real attack with real casualties.
That's exactly why they're signing up. I guess I’ve just become a cynic. It’s easy to sit back and make claims like that—
It’s just a plain, common-sense fact at this point—everything the West does in the Middle East directly feeds the cycle of radicalization. You mess around over there, and you're essentially handing out free recruitment tools to terrorists and making it easier than ever to turn people into fanatics. It's that simple.

When you're dealing with the French and the English—well, you just have to know what you're getting into.
That was exactly the point of being cynical—it was the whole reason I even made that post in response to that infamous announcement and the threat directed at Americans. Honestly, trying to hash this out in the "message and appeal" section is just a waste of breath, so I'm done talking about it.
