I bought 3DMark and PCMark 8 on Steam today.
I have never used Steam before. I registered today specifically to buy this software, so I am not sure if I am just unable to figure out how to download the keys. I cannot find them anywhere; it just says the license is for the Steam Store.

I installed the Steam Store client, but even there, I can't locate the keys. What is going on? Should I contact support regarding the software keys or what?

I would download the software, but I need to know how to get the keys I paid for on Steam.
Whenever I have purchased software in the past, I received keys, and then I could install the software whenever I wanted.

What should I do? I can't navigate this Steam platform. If I had known it worked like this, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

What is the procedure here?

You don't actually get any keys. You just install the software via Steam and it handles all the licensing automatically...

That’s exactly how I handled it. The two pieces of software take up about 9 GB total, so the installation took a bit longer than expected, and you have to set up an account on the 3DMark website.

The license and keys are hosted on the 3DMark site, so I guess you could just archive everything if you ever need to reinstall the software later.
Here are the test results.

Mind if I ask what actually prompted you to pick up those two programs? It’s not like you’re running a high-end gaming rig just to flex your benchmark scores, right? 😁😁😁

I mean, you really think Edward Thompson86 is just gonna spill all his secrets now?? Besides, from what I know, PCMark 8 and 3DMark are free programs, so I don't get why everyone's tripping about buying them.

I bought a few things out of curiosity rather than necessity..

It’s paid software, but there was a sale, so I figured I’d test my rig with the new GTX 1050. I mainly wanted to see how the SSD PM 961 performs compared to the benchmarks I see online.
I also ran some GPU tests; I picked three older games and cranked them up to high settings, and they run fine, I guess.
Today's test.

My purchase history on Steam and Ubisoft isn't much yet, but maybe it will grow over time.

Sure, money changes hands... but there's always a catch somewhere else. Who knows, really?
