We aren't going to give you a platform here to wage those crusades you said you were planning...

frozenranger52 said:I agree with the complaints regarding Coca-Cola's mediocre moderation on terrorism threads. His comments comparing types of terrorism are being wiped out. Even sarcastic remarks that actually dissect public hypocrisy are getting people banned and posts deleted...

Please provide links in the future. If a post was removed, link to the page where it used to be. Also, take a look at the rules in this PDF regarding how to file an appeal...

Morgan Rodriguez57 said:Personally, because of this behavior, I’ve asked both lonebadger6 and Pizzaria for partial bans on Newsweek. It's much easier to breathe when you know you won't get a strike after every single post...☕

briskbison55 said:It isn't just this forum; the situation is the same on forums and in the media all over the US. In places like Chicago, they wipe posts if someone just mentions that four attacks occurred in seven days—it's just facts, yet they still can't handle it...

You cannot participate in appeal threads concerning PDFs where you have a partial ban...
Linda King said:Regarding that post of yours that got flagged and then deleted... 🤣

Sanctions don't apply to you personally. Everyone has the right to speak up for themselves, and it's a choice whether they do or not. Your only real grievance here is the warning you received on that thread before deciding to come over here and start a discussion about how someone else's post was moderated.

The moderators will weigh in soon, so please bear with us. I won't close this thread until then, but let's not turn this into a space for heavy insults—we've already seen that happen once (and the post was removed). That goes for making claims without providing links to specific examples, posting provocations, being unconstructive, or anything else that violates our general forum rules and this subforum's guidelines.
Otherwise, you'll be locked out.

So, there it is—that’s the vibe. This whole crew seems to only know how to talk in circles... honestly, if you guys keep this up, you won't last very long at all! 👍

I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread until the supermoderators can step in. My apologies to those who were actually looking for a constructive conversation...

Here is a quick response while I’m away on vacation: I need to review this thread more thoroughly from my desktop rather than my phone, but even now, it seems clear that we need much stricter moderation in the Politics section. We have to stop these trolls from attempting to harass moderators who are simply performing their duties with an immense sense of responsibility.

If anyone has a legitimate grievance regarding how a moderator handles a situation, please back it up with links or don't bother showing up at all. Anyone who arrives without actual arguments, intending only to spout vitriol, can expect nothing more than a ban and the immediate deletion of their comments.
Once I have had a chance to take a closer look at the threads in the Politics subforum, I will post again if there is anything further worth noting.
