I just can't wrap my head around the idea of fear becoming a permanent fixture of life in Europe. If some people on this forum think that's acceptable, well, I don't, and I
I truly believe nothing matters more than the safety of people living in Europe.
Honestly, I don't care if we're talking about Islamic terrorism or any other kind; these recent events in Germany are an attack on its citizens, period. No one can talk me out of that.
The whole thing feels like a farce. They supposedly blocked a Syrian man from a festival because he didn't have a ticket, yet somehow two million people have slipped into Europe without even showing a passport or ID.
And then there's that "lover"—he wasn't "just" a terrorist who killed a pregnant woman before moving on to unidentified targets... if someone hadn't stopped him, imagine how many more victims there would have been. How could anyone possibly characterize that differently?
The same goes for that depressed guy in Munich; he was just a sick individual who spent a year planning a massacre. Depression isn't aggression, and there's absolutely no excuse for what he did.
Then you have this latest incident, where the initial reports were claiming it was just a gas leak.
It’s all just lies and manipulation. Refusing to call these events by their real names is just avoiding reality, and I guess it's a way to provoke a reaction from the other side.
I'm not sure who benefits from this, but if the politicians in the EU don't show some actual will to resolve this crisis, I suspect the people might start taking matters into their own hands... aren't the elections in Germany in 2017?
I just saw this a few minutes ago—a post flagged with 35 points for trolling and then immediately deleted. Moderator lonebadger6. Topic: Germany, EU PDF.
I see, so not much has changed. Just a small observation based on the title, I'm not really complaining or anything.
