PC parts build under $550

I'm looking to pick up
a motherboard
with an i9 proc
a GPU
an SSD
and some RAM

The total cost is somewhere in that ballpark... maybe a little higher depending on what I find
The rig would basically be for casual gaming and doing a bit of 3D rendering here and there

Are you buying a computer here in the States? Since you mentioned euros, I just had to ask 🙂

$500 for a gaming rig with an i7? You might want to check your math on that one... 😁 Does that include the case, power supply, and hard drive?

I usually just pick stuff up locally... wait, looking back at my notes, I actually wrote down an i7. My mistake, I meant an i5.
If I already have a case and a power supply lying around, let's call the total budget maybe $650.
I don't need anything built for heavy lifting or high-end gaming.

At that point, I could probably just hit up Best Buy and grab some decent components centered around an i5 instead.

Honestly, I’d say you’ve got maybe a week before those new AMD cards hit the shelves... especially an RX 470, which would be a total waste of money for your budget 😁
