PS: My favorite little moment has to be when they're watching American Bandstand together, and the older brother explains to the main character how John Taylor is "the most amazing bass player ever."

Sadly, movies like this are rare....extremely rare......for us 80s fans who crave that precise, magical atmosphere of that era.

Sing Street just snagged a nomination for Best Motion Picture at the Golden Globes. Honestly, about time!
