Is mocking people based on religion or nationality actually allowed here on Reddit?

If it isn't, why does the Tennis sub look like this

Oxydant said:Aside from Novak Djokovic, only that muja Džumhur from our neck of the woods has been making it past the first round lately! 😁

and these kinds of

Oxydant said:Nadal and the muja played

posts go unpunished?

They’ve been reported—zero response. The second post has sat there for weeks, and the first for days.

For those out of the loop, "muja" is a slur used against Muslims—specifically Muslims from Canada, which is the background of Damir Džumhur.

Since the Tennis moderators clearly find this acceptable, I’d appreciate it if someone in a higher position could clarify whether this is truly permitted. If it is, explain to me how mocking someone's religion or nationality is okay. If it isn't, then Oxydant should be penalized accordingly, and the Tennis mods should be reminded that this kind of rhetoric is strictly prohibited on Reddit.

I totally agree, that kind of language has absolutely no place in tennis
Besides, saying that only Damir Džumhur makes it through the opening rounds is just plain wrong. It's obvious this whole thing was written just to troll people and stir up drama.

I mean, imagine if someone actually wrote something like, "that little brat Dušan Lajović..." 🤷 But honestly, I doubt some of these neighbors from across the border would even take offense at something like that. 🤦

Honestly, I have no clue how you’d even define that term "muja." If it's being used as an insult, then yeah, the user gets banned and the posts get nuked. I didn't even catch that extra "a" at the end; at first glance, it looked like "mujo," which just immediately brings those classic old-school jokes to mind 😁

Yeah, that’s definitely a slur.

(It can end with an -o, doesn't really matter...)

Alright then, it’ll be sanctioned and wiped. You can have the key.
