Hey everyone, what's up?
A bit late to the party here, but my colleague Mashenko totally shot down my suggestion to kick things off at 1:00 AM.
1. Second Hand Newsโstarts off pretty chill, kind of a slow burn, but right around the halfway mark, things actually get interesting and hit a real peak. After that though, it just feels repetitive, like it's circling the drain toward the end. I'd give it a 6/10.

Look, we all started here, but then you posted over there saying we should push this to tomorrow. And I think slyviper6 is done for now too, right? ๐คท ๐คฃ If you guys are still down, I'm still around. ๐ฅณ

Had a few drinks, and since nobody was around to chat, I just threw on an album to pass the time... and now I'm already at the last track ๐คฃ

So, what's the move? Are we keeping this going or what๐คฃ?
Regarding Fleetwood Mac discographyโthe female vocals on 2.Dreams are solid, maybe even better, but I think I vibe with the male vocals a bit more. The track itself feels pretty moody and repetitive, but hey, it works fine as background music; it doesn't get annoying. Itโs like some weird mashup of Norah Jones and Jinx, haha. 6/10

I'm officially done with this oneโit's just not for me. ๐ It might get a little tedious toward the end, but since itโs such a quick watch, I guess itโs passable.

3. I am never going backโhonestly, this is such a vibe, just living life๐คฃ
It feels like Iโm cruising in a pickup truck somewhere out in the Midwest, maybe deep in rural Texas or something, soaking up that intense sun with a hat pulled low while I just mess around with a blade of grass between my teeth.๐คฃ 8/10

Keep it playingโIโm usually not one for songs with this kind of theme, but the lyrics on this one are actually top-tier.
The vocal chemistry they have going here works perfectly.๐That outro is a bit grating, though.

go your own way honestly, this album is finally starting to pick up... even if this track feels like a total relic from a different era, it still hits just as hard today. 9/10

songbird - I feel like this track belongs at the very end. It just doesn't sit right sandwiched between Go Your Own Way and The Chain, you know?
Dreams for the broke ๐บ 7/10

songbird - Itโs sweet, sure... enough to be okay, but honestly? Kind of a snooze. The only part worth listening to is "and i love u and i love u...." 5/10

Man, don't you dare stopโthat vocal shredding is killer๐๐ especially during those parts where they hit "...yesterday's gone..."
The guitar solo hits hard at certain points too๐ but honestly, the whole track feels a bit played out... like I've heard this exact vibe a hundred times before. Solid 6/10

The Chain - honestly, there aren't enough words to describe how much I love this track. ๐I want this playing on loop in the background while I'm checking out of this life.
10/10
Reminds me of their song "One of Us."

"The Chain" is hands down the best track on the whole record... easy 9.5/10

5. Go Your Own Wayโman, Iโve known this track since I was a kid (I actually just went back to check which album it was on, and honestly, Iโm kind of floored; I mean, this is absolute legend status, yet somehow I never even put them in my top tier for the century๐คฃ), total metal vibes, that chorus is killer๐+pure nostalgia. 8.5/10

6. Songbirdโitโs just way too sugary for me. I can't really get into that "high-pitched" vocal style they're using; it feels pretty forgettable overall and doesn't really click for me. 4/10
(The description says it's an outtake next to the video... does that mean it didn't make the final cut for the album?)

I honestly don't even want to go there, but those clapping parts? Pretty sick. It gives me total Ritchie Valens vibes... actually, just feels like that whole era of American rock stars in general. 8/10
