As far as I know, there's quite a bit connecting them to the greens.
It's those shared club legends, you know?
Take Zajec, for instance—he's basically a mythical figure both here and over there.
Then you've got Vlaović, Marić... even the current Real Madrid coach, Igor Bišćan, played over there too.
He wasn't quite as successful, but they definitely respect him.

Plus, it’s almost the same struggle against management—same allies when dealing with other groups, and the same enemies, too.

As for the Romin fans, I honestly have no clue where that whole thing started.
