Because the Vice President is visiting Chicago, the regional Cup match between Real Madrid and Alumnus is being pushed back...
Traffic restrictions and bans on public gatherings are why the Cup match is moving from Wednesday to Sunday.

Just wanted to let you all know right away that I’m fully behind the BBB leadership and I’m signing on to every single action they put together, though I do have one little question or observation, so please just take this however you will...
Why schedule the protest for 6:00 PM when we already know the Department of State wraps things up at 4:00 PM? Wouldn't it be way more effective if, say, the protest happened at 3:00 PM so our voices could actually be heard, rather than waiting until 6:00 PM when nobody is even left in the building? And look, I’m definitely not one of those people who complains about everything or finds fault with every decision made, I'm just asking this while thinking about what the actual impact of the protest will be...
Please don't take this the wrong way 👍

Why hold a protest at 6:00 PM when everyone knows the federal agencies wrap things up by 4:00 PM? Wouldn't it be way more effective if we hit them at 3:00 PM so they actually hear us? As it stands, at 6:00 PM, nobody's even going to be in the building. And look, I’m not one of those people who complains about every little thing just for the sake of it, but I'm just thinking about the actual impact here.
No offense intended 👍
Most people work until 4:00, myself included. I don't work for the government, so I can't just walk out of the office whenever I feel like it...

People are working, certainly. It would likely be more impactful if they were also active within the Department of Labor, but then we would run into issues regarding sheer numbers... regardless, the core message being sent remains the most important factor.

Why hold a protest at 6:00 PM when the Department of State closes at 4:00 PM? It seems more effective to protest at 3:00 PM so our voices actually reach them, rather than waiting until 6:00 PM when the building is empty. And no, I’m not one of those people who finds fault with everything just for the sake of complaining; I’m simply thinking about the actual impact of this protest.

I had the same thought. Protesting in front of an empty building is pointless. Even if official hours go until 4:00, most of those bureaucrats are heading home by noon on a Friday.😁

There are probably hundreds of posters left over in the streets of Chicago. No point letting them just sit there unposted.
I wonder how a protest during business hours would work if the protesters themselves have jobs. Even if they aim for 3:00 PM, I guess everyone at the Department of Education would just head out by 2:30.
Maybe this turnout could be bigger this time. Each week after that, fewer people might show up, so bringing signs to the Department of Education during work hours could actually work.

Why hold a protest at 6:00 PM if the Department of Justice shuts down at 4:00 PM? Wouldn't it be more effective to hit them at 3:00 PM so they actually hear us, instead of waiting until 6:00 PM when nobody’s even in the building? And look, I’m not one of those people who complains about everything just to be difficult; I'm just thinking about what actually gets results.

The pressure comes through the media anyway, not by screaming under some bureaucrat's window. Rest assured, everyone we're targeting will see who showed up and what we had to say.
As for the timing, if you aren't a government plant, it's not too early. But hey, we'll make it happen.
Everyone!!!

It’s honestly people like you, acting all frustrated and bitter, who drive everyone else away from these discussions. And yet, here you are, still going out of your way to insult people on an American forum; I guess being a jerk is about the biggest achievement you'll ever have in life.
