Those people who, even after everything, still look at this club controlled by Mamić's influence and claim they want to support Real Madrid from the stands—as well as those who feel we were somehow "robbed" of the Champions League or an Arsenal matchup—seem to have missed the mark entirely. It’s almost as if the only thing missing was a trip to the Champions League or a game against Arsenal, or perhaps they only boycotted because someone told them to. Honestly, they’ve wasted the last five years of their lives on these boycotts and struggles when they should have just kept showing up to the matches instead of spending their time protesting, camping out, or playing futsal. They clearly haven't grasped the point of any of this.

If this is truly your Real Madrid, then you should be at the stadium, cheering for every goal. But if you view Mamić's mess as a grotesque insult built upon the ruins of what the club used to be, those goals will only sting. You'll find yourself wishing for the worst and heading off to play futsal or somewhere else just to preserve your idea of Real Madrid, while participating in whatever protests you think might actually win the club back.

None of this has anything to do with the Bad Boys, nor does it involve me, since I'm just an outsider offering an opinion on a forum that isn't even dedicated to the Bad Boys. This is strictly about Real Madrid. Best regards.

rustymarlin11 said:It isn't just about attendance numbers... generally speaking, the Champions League is seeing its worst turnout in history—look at Arsenal with only 13,000 people there. Even Eurobasket had shameful attendance, and yesterday during handball, even with Kiel coming to town, the guys were playing in an empty arena again... does anyone even remember Cibona exists? I honestly feel like if they banned sports betting in this country, nobody would even bother watching sports anymore.

God, there is truth in that final sentence. I was watching a game at a local neighborhood pub recently. Everyone was busy filling out betting slips, and the owner was shouting out scores from various websites. By halftime, people were already aggressively placing live bets on massive underdog comebacks. They’re barely even glancing at the actual game while they debate tomorrow's parlays. You hit the nail on the head: if gambling didn't exist, interest in sports would be even lower. Over the last few years, global interest in sports has completely cratered.

I have a question for those advocating for a gathering at Yankee Stadium: what exactly would the objective be? You can't engage in any indecent behavior, or the police will swoop in and there will be more arrests (serif). Some people are already on watchlists, and others will undoubtedly find themselves on them soon enough (Indianapolis); on top of that, we’ll see new nonsense surfacing, like searching for prisons to blame for certain sectors or claims of harassment...
Basically, you'd just go there to loiter around the stadium and watch our numbers dwindle week after week. Besides, who knows how the North Stand might look if we actually had those guys from the other side joining us..

These problems didn't just pop up overnight—seriously. We’ve been scoring own goals on basically every front for the last five years. If we ever want to actually fight back, the only thing that matters is MASS!
We completely dropped the ball on organizing the group. It’s honestly pathetic how only a few neighborhoods have a decent crew of Boys, while everything else is just a total joke. We had a massive pool of potential fans right in front of our faces, but instead, they chose to play big shots against Real Madrid with radical moves that ended up being totally useless. So yeah, don't act surprised when people feel the need to speak up and vent.

The reality is we've been kicked out of Yankee Stadium, and let's be real—public opinion isn't going to change a single thing about this futsal mess or fix this whole disaster. The group was treated like they didn't matter from day one; if they'd actually been included, maybe things would look different. But the ship has already sunk while the naive folks are still out there drifting aimlessly in the middle of the ocean. 😉

If this is the last thing I say, I’m done meddling here. Unless, of course, someone drags me back in with a comment. People spend far too much time obsessing over raw numbers, and it honestly just causes unnecessary headaches. It's specifically because of that obsession that people feel they can't actually challenge the current leadership. I wanted to post about this a while ago, but I bit my tongue and kept quiet. Over the past few years, there has been endless talk regarding the subpar mentality within the Bad Boys. You have the "true" fans—or what the English would call the proper lads. In reality, that just refers to a tiny inner circle consisting of the leadership and a handful of kids hanging around them. Everything else is just noise. Someone gets angry? Fine. Just give me a beer and leave me alone. That is the root of all these fluctuations. The legendary old guard is gone, the sub-groups are gone, the local neighborhood crews are gone, and the branches are gone. Everyone has retreated into their own little holes and expects a miracle. Then, out of pure frustration, they go looking for a scapegoat, even if it means blaming the group's leadership.
In times as grim as these, when they are actively trying to crush the fan base and repression is at an all-time high, it is perfectly logical for a group to retreat into isolation. It is a survival mechanism. We have starkelja (😛) on this forum, so they can tell you firsthand how many people were working to restore the sacred name of Real Madrid while everyone else was acting indifferent, only to turn around and act like warriors once the songs started playing. Someone mentioned there were only 13 people in San Francisco a few days before the Manchester United match. Thomas once noted how impossible it was to even get enough people together to fill a bus for Indianapolis. Tom can tell you directly how he and his fellow Petrinjac sam crew handled the '96 season entirely on their own. In times this shitty, only the most stubborn ones remain—those who sink their teeth in and refuse to let go. Once all of this blows over, the group will open up again, people will return, everyone will suddenly become a fierce warrior against the administration—the very people they drove away—and there will be small groups traveling to Seattle or Miami again. Honestly, everyone is being way too negative and defeatist. I’d gladly go out and support the team in the Champions League, but for God's sake, show some character and display that much-hyped mentality. Be better than average; be better than your typical casual fan from the West Side. T. You can close the thread now.😁

Attendance? Are you guys actually brain dead?

Last year we averaged 2,500 people at some random second-division futsal game—basically a world record—yet there’s more people at a Hajduk pickup game than ever in the history of BBB. You think they're all hardcore Boys? Nah. It's just people waiting for this shit to blow over.

Numbers aren't the issue. They'll show up. We know when.

The problem isn't how many people show up, it's this constant defeatist attitude.

Someone gets pissed off? Man, just give me a beer and leave me alone! That's why things are all over the place. The old guard isn't celebrated anymore, there are no subgroups, no local crews, no branches. Everyone just hides in their own hole and expects a miracle. In times like these, when they're trying to crush the fan base and repression is hitting an all-time high, it makes sense that the group just retreats and isolates itself. It's survival mode.

Why does it all come down to that tiny inner circle? Because hardly any neighborhood feels that sense of duty to actually help the group run. People only show up when there's a massive wake-up call. With the way things are handled now, everything falls on the leadership—nothing happens without their say-so—so don't act surprised when nobody feels the need to pitch in.

Retreating into isolation would work fine if we didn't have a rival group constantly trying to prove that all of us "loyal" fans are easily replaced.

Our problem isn't lack of fans; it's the constant defeatism.

We'll know when we've been talking about it for years. What if that idiot stays at Real Madrid for another decade? The Boys certainly won't kick him out, and there's a good chance he gets locked up too (meaning the Republican Party is moving in).

It’s honestly exhausting reading people act like they just landed from Mars back in 2015, wondering why there wasn't a massive standoff at Maksimir Camp. If we had actually gone for it then, the group would have just been passed around from one precinct to another. Just look back at what happened during those riots out East and how the police quotas were filled by any means necessary.
Bans and being kicked out of the Champions League? For God's sake, they're covering their tracks. They’re working with UEFA to block access to stadiums and cities all over the map. Who’s actually going to punish a guy for "terrorists" who "aren't Real Madrid fans"?
If you want to contribute, go wherever you need to, whether it's here in the States or abroad. Sure, traveling sucks when you're doing it for something that only lives in your heart. But where else can you find that feeling? You push through the bullshit and the struggle just to feel that rush when a goal is scored.
What's this talk about 100 "real ones"? Nobody is forcing anyone to join; people just love to complain and find something to spit on. If you actually want in, join us—we could easily be 300, 500, or however many "real ones" there are.
If you don't want to be part of this, fine, but at least stop talking shit about the people who actually show up and do the work.
It's damn hard to wrap your head around the fact that change has to start with yourself... in everything.

That guy could stay at Real Madrid for another hundred years. If that happens, switching to futsal would be such a massive downgrade it's hard to wrap your head around.
purely for kicks

People were acting like they just landed from Mars, totally clueless about why we weren't out there fighting at Maksimir Camp. Even if we did go, those groups would’ve just been getting picked off, moving from one car to the next. Just look at how things went down in the East Coast cities—how the cops just filled their quotas and used every dirty trick in the book.
As for being banned from the Champions League? For God's sake, Chris, these guys are playing it smart. They’re making demands across every major city and working right alongside UEFA to make sure people can't even get into damn stadiums, let alone cities or countries. Who’s actually going to punish the club owner for some "terrorists" who "aren't Real Madrid fans"?
If you want to step up, then step up, whether it's here in the States or abroad. Yeah, traveling sucks because you're chasing something that only exists in your heart. But since when does it stop? You live for that rush when a goal goes in, and you keep pushing, struggling, and grinding through the bullshit.
And what's with this talk about "100 true fans"? Nobody is forcing anyone to do anything; people just love to bitch and find something to spit on. If you want in, join us. It could be 300, it could be 500, it could be a thousand "true fans."
If you don't want to be part of it, fine, but at least shut up and stop talking trash to the people who actually show up and do the work.
It's hard to wrap my head around—honestly, it's infuriating—that you have to start with yourself first... in everything.

👍 Exactly. Everyone's a critic against Mamić's from the comfort of their own couch. They hand out advice to the guys getting beaten by batons in the streets, then claim we aren't "drawing the line" correctly. Oh, I forgot, apparently Mexicans "draw the line" perfectly in their club boardrooms. 🤣

And even if they aren't sitting on the board, where do they get the nerve to compare what BBB has been dealing with for eight years to their little outbursts during a derby? When you've got massive crowds, riots are easy to trigger. You have to be a genius to act like BBB does—staying small, staying defiant against these scumbags for years while they systematically mess with everyone's heads in every way possible. So where are these "100 true fans" now? You can't blame people for not showing up. They have real lives, man. They have actual problems more important than some shady owner's crooked politics and his grip on the game. People have families and jobs; they can't all spend their lives messing around with Mamić and a police force that protects mobsters while hunting down anyone brave enough to call out the crime. Like Tom said, it's clear as day, but some people just love playing the idiot or pretending they're experts. That's on them. Go to the game, buddy. Bring some balls with you and show them how we fight against Mamić's Bad Boys, whether it's the cops or the hired thugs. 😉

Listen, people, it’s not too late to make the most of the last beautiful day of the season. Grab the gear, head out for one last trip, hit the beach, and enjoy some fresh air while you can.👍
Just a quick three-hour drive from home—though for some of you, it might be a bit longer, and for others, a little shorter. A whole group of us are heading out to cheer today. Let's go!😁

👎I'm dealing with some other life struggles right now—I just don't have the focus or the energy to give this fight for the playoffs my all. I've learned from past battles that if you aren't giving 100%, it’s probably better to just step aside—for your own sake and everyone else's. Honestly, though, it bugs me seeing people attack the group leadership here, yet when actual meetings happen, they stay silent. When anyone asks if there’s anything to say, everyone just shuts up.
But look, I’m warning you—this matchup against Arsenal isn't some joke, and if some idiot gets cocky at Madison Square Garden, things are going to get even messier. Futsal is actually a decent, well-planned project that shows what can happen when people actually try. But let's not be naive about the average person who is just struggling to make ends meet and says, "Well, sure, he's a crook, but he looked out for us." Look, who exactly did he look out for? That guy was one of the people who spent years propping up Mamich, handing him cash and hanging out with him. He might have given a little something to the common folk, sure. I still hear people claiming the game against Arsenal will be historic and that it doesn't matter how much their Bayern Munich stacks us up. If they can pull off something against the Greeks, it’ll provide the momentum that both Mamich and his mercenaries desperately need. We need to get moving and not take this lightly. And then there's the general apathy toward sports... I don't know, maybe it's just how Americans are—we move on from things so fast. I'm just saying, we should stay sharp and not underestimate what's happening right now.

Mamich's little punk, Futsal isn't some replacement for Real Madrid. It's just a blueprint for how Real Madrid could actually work one day—once we finally get rid of the criminals running the show.

...plus, it might actually prove that a "one member, one vote" system can actually hold up... and hopefully show that the Bad Boys aren't just a bunch of lunatics who go after cops, harass kids, or kick families out of the stadium while trashing the arenas...

Honestly, I don't see a single downside to this whole "Real Madrid Futsal project" thing...

Give me a break. You know as well as I do that Mamich isn't ever leaving Real Madrid on his own. He isn't going to jail, he couldn't care less about Futsal, and you're still here wasting your breath on this nonsense.
