And before anyone starts asking—no, I'm not from the West Coast, I'm an East Coast guy through and through, and honestly, I spent my entire youth hanging around the Group, so I actually know what I'm talking about. I don't consider myself a provocateur or anything; I just refuse to blindly follow some imaginary ideology, even if people claim it's perfectly logical or "correct." I'm just not built for that kind of fighting style. straight up reasons

Yeah, exactly. It’s easy as pie.Honestly, you really don't have a single legitimate reason to even bother arguing with people who actually live for an ideal. Like, why even waste the breath?
Look, nobody is stopping you from hanging out with your buddies on the East Coast and arguing that Real Madrid has always been everyone's little bitch—so what? Honestly. It’s like how America was just some playground for different empires for decades because most people weren't exactly itching for a fight, while the tiny minority that actually woke up every once in a while kept getting shut down by the establishment, just like how all the opposition voices get dismissed today. But hey, eventually, a free America happened. You should probably just take it on the chin like everyone else does and let the people who actually want to do the dirty work handle it. I really don't see why you keep insisting to them that you don't get it or that you're totally against everything they stand for. Just stop.
Look, it’s pretty damn obvious, isn't it? I don't know how you can possibly miss the point when it's staring you right in the face. 🙂

You couldn't even bring salt with a Real Madrid logo, and banners were totally out of the question. Constant clashes with the police. He fought back against the trash and won. But he wasn't rooting AGAINST Real Madrid (the US).

It was 2000 back then, now it's 2015.

There was no internet before, now there is.

People weren't rooting against the team before, but they are now.

It isn't just the BBB; even the die-hard Real Madrid fans are standing up against the leadership. They're all one and the same.
cosmicscout2 said:This is exactly my point. Those thousand or two thousand of you who see things clearly are absolutely right, while everyone else is just full of nothing but hate.

It isn't just the Bad Boys; it’s the entire fanbase that turned against the leadership. These are the very same people who were pushed out of every other section of the stadium. Just look back at how many local neighborhood crews used to hold down the East Coast. Think about all the former fans, the old-school diehards. Most of them simply retreated home, waiting for better days to return. In their place, we got these fake ultras showing up to European matches for free snacks, while only a handful show up to domestic league games. The real failure doesn't lie with ZM, nor does it lie with the FBI, the corrupt journalists, or the politicians. The biggest failure lies squarely with you "true believers." You are nothing more than small-minded, selfish cowards who put your own interests above everything else. You're like sheep, only caring about being first in line, even if the price is letting this Club turn into a criminal enterprise. You betrayed the Bad Boys, you betrayed the fans, and you betrayed the dream of our Club—the dream of a clean, honest institution for every supporter. To you, those ideals are just jokes and imaginary struggles; you admitted that yourselves. My friends, you aren't even rebels; you are worse. Those extremists were actually right when they cheered as the big boss took his seat in the VIP box. I was a fool to fall for these propaganda spins. I'm done with this senseless argument. After five years, the trenches are dug too deep. None of us are going to change each other's minds. Damn you, Mamić.

Out of my original group of 20 or 30 people, only a few of us are left. Some walked away because they wanted better opportunities, while others just grew tired of everything surrounding the Club. When the younger guys from my neighborhood ask me why I’m crazy enough to stay and grab a drink with them, I think back to those old days of the league and how much we suffered for this damn Club. That's what drives me back to the stadium. Even if I end up going there alone most of the time.

This is what I'm talking about. If you aren't with us, you're nothing. That's why you get so much public support—it doesn't reach any further than these two threads on this forum. Don't expect anything tonight. Peace.

Look, there is no middle ground here. You are either with us or you are against us. You can't pretend to be neutral and claim your obstructionism is just "deep love" for the Club, only to lose your mind with excitement when they release those thugs and you start cheering for them at the very next game. But then again, you're so 311 miles far removed from this that you clearly can't grasp how these dynamics actually work.

And this whole "harming the Group" argument is honestly up for debate, despite all the crackdowns and people trying to force everyone into line... I’ve never seen a better generation of BBB fans—actually, generations of them now—with hundreds, sometimes even thousands of young people who actually GET the world they live in and truly understand what the Club and its ideals mean. They are way ahead of those old, broken, and basically washed-up "just roll with it" generations whose misery you’re describing up there. I know plenty of losers like that in my own circles and among my own generation of Dinamo fans; I can spot them a mile away just by listening to them talk. These kids, though, based on everything from their guts to their willingness to stand up for an ideal against the entire system, are the real deal and the only actual future we have. Even if it's just a few hundred or maybe a couple thousand out of everyone, that's still a MASSIVE percentage when you look at the general population and how many people actually grasp reality or have the capacity to shake things up with nothing but their own wits.
I’d go as far as to say they’re some of the best examples of their generation, period. They grew up in a system that was, at the very least, a tiny fraction as totalitarian as ours, so they aren't so easily conditioned like us dinosaurs to just bow our heads, shrug our shoulders, and happily settle for whatever crumbs get tossed off the table to keep us occupied. THAT is why the Club has spent years being "someone's John Doe." You're preaching that dinosaur conformist ideology, while the rest of us were pushed to the sidelines on the East Coast and West Coast, raised to hunch our backs and clap quietly. Those days are, thank God, over and finally fading away.

How exactly are we supposed to gain "public support" when the general public is completely clueless? And what makes you think people are going to welcome you with open arms after you spend all these years complaining about supporting Real Madrid...

After everything that has happened, there is no middle ground: you either embrace the change or you provide legitimacy to the status quo. That is the cold, hard truth. And you have already made it very clear which side you're on.

Your brain clearly isn't wired to process this, so I won't waste my breath explaining it again. Like I said, step outside your bubble and look at these two threads to see how many Real Madrid fans actually want the team to lose. I don't know many of them personally.

At this point, you're either for real change or you're just giving them legitimacy. That's the bottom line, and you've already made your choice.

Best,

Are you even realizing that the big boss isn't leaving Real Madrid for at least another 20 years? He'll probably lose 99% of his games (unless he ends up at Chelsea, which doesn't look likely). These losses everyone is celebrating won't drive him out anytime soon.

When someone hits you with that whole "if you aren't with us, you're against us" cliché, I just look them dead in the eye and tell them they're being ridiculous. Then, if you actually sit there and try to wrap your head around why they're acting like that—mostly because they can't see any other way out—you end up swallowing your pride just to offer a hand. Because, honestly, you realize they’re fundamentally headed in the right direction. That’s exactly how I handled things once upon a time. People who don't get that are usually just waiting to pull that classic American silent treatment or throw some armchair criticism at everyone and everything; those people who act all offended and then refuse to step up or get involved... man, they still have so much growing to do, and I really don't see why we even need this many people here just to constantly lecture one another.

Why on earth are you so incredibly invested in rooting for failure? This entire debate only ignited because a handful of you showed up to spout nonsense about ridiculous ideals and imaginary struggles. That is what caused me to lose my temper and erupt. People were shot, people were beaten, people faced threats against themselves and their families, people were fired, and people were thrown in prison... and now, instead of showing respect to those individuals or offering even a simple thank you, we get these self-proclaimed intellectuals appearing out of nowhere to philosophize. And once things actually get ugly, you immediately pivot to spinning it as if anyone was cheering for the opposition. Go ahead, keep celebrating 311 miles far away from the heat of the action, because you clearly have no grasp of the reality of what transpired here. If you took the LA Galaxy situation a little less seriously, everything would be fine.

Do you honestly realize you're essentially cheering for nothing more than his personal ATM?

I feel like I've explained this to you at least ten times already: what you're struggling to grasp for the eleventh time is just basic human emotion. It’s quite simple, really. You either feel a sense of joy when his money-maker struggles, or you feel miserable when it succeeds. It couldn't be any more straightforward than that.

I couldn't care less about LA Galaxy's results; they aren't even a real football club to begin with...
But are you truly cognizant of the fact that we might have actually achieved something meaningful if your entire media circle wasn't acting like a mindless mob? You and your followers seem far more concerned with being better than the LAFC or beating up on random underdog teams than actually building a legitimate, professional organization.

All these self-proclaimed "Real Madrid loyalists" are experts at talking a big game, yet when any actual action is required, they vanish into thin air... save for a few rare exceptions.

I have never, ever mocked the ideals or the (justified) fight for a better Real Madrid. I simply stated that boycotting and cheering for the opposition isn't—in my opinion—the right way to fight that battle.

Either people are just trolling or they’re actually lacking some basic brain cells, because there's no other way to explain asking such half-baked questions. Seriously, how many times do we have to go through the same loop of identical questions and the exact same explanations? Maybe someone should just slap a list of FAQs at the top of every single thread. That way, when the mindless questions start rolling in, you can just drop a link and let them read up. Look, you’re totally free to have a different opinion on this topic, but asking the same thing over and over for five-plus years isn't just annoying—it’s straight-up disrespectful. And don't come at me with that "please, I didn't mean anything by it" crap; I'm not looking for a participation trophy but....

Now we can actually have a conversation.
I agree with you that supporting LA Galaxy might have been the path toward fighting for the club's interests.
However, it’s clear the fans reached a breaking point. They refused to back someone else's private agenda when they knew they were right—they wouldn't allow anyone to illegitimately hijack our collective pride.

So tell me, why would you cheer for the success of a club being exploited for private gain?
Why support a one-sided dictatorship within a non-profit organization?
Given everything that has unfolded over the last five years, that stance is hard to wrap my head around. In fact, it’s almost disrespectful to criticize others for having a different opinion.
If you weren't aware of the full situation, I might understand, but if you do recognize the problem, I don't see why you're pretending nothing happened just to routinely support his personal success.
