I have a laptop at my vacation home, and honestly, browsing the web on it is an absolute crawl. I recently heard that I might be able to squeeze a bit more performance out of it by using a utility called "TCP Optimizer."
I’ve already gone ahead and downloaded it, but I’m feeling a bit lost regarding the actual configuration—so if anyone here has experience with this, I would truly appreciate some guidance.
Here are my current specs:
-Windows 10 Ultimate
-Internet speed: download 4 Mbps / upload 0.512 Mbps

Just run a quick check on Speedtest.net over there. You gotta be physically on-site for it to matter, though. Once you have those numbers, we'll see what the options are...

upload: 0.46 mbps

It’s a decent enough speed for what it is. The lag might just be latency issues, or maybe something's acting up on the laptop itself...
