I have this one dentist—I rarely go because I can't stand her personality, but honestly, I haven't found anyone better, so I just keep going back. Every single visit is absolutely revolting. Her office looks clean enough, but she never washes her hands—she touches everything from the door handles to her phone after every single call... It’s nauseating. She gets blood and tissue all over the place, and then she'll literally drop a tool on the floor and pick it up to put right back in my mouth. I am genuinely terrified I've caught some disease from her. I'm too scared to even say anything because she gives me these looks like she can't stand being in the same room as me. On top of that, she plays games with her pricing—the quotes she gives me change constantly, and sometimes the receipt doesn't even match what she told me upfront. I've never seen anything like it. I already have a massive phobia of dentists, so now I'm just paralyzed by fear. To make matters worse, the work she did didn't even fix the problem—it still hurts. Does anyone know a decent dentist anywhere in Washington, D.C.? My last dentist left a piece of a tooth behind when he was supposed to extract it, and while this woman should be fixing it since she charged me a fortune, I am physically repulsed at the thought of those filthy hands being near my mouth again. Yesterday, I actually felt like throwing up because of how much her hands smelled.
