Well, I suppose I should also offer my support to the media, even though I have this lingering impression that the whole situation has been blown quite out of proportion,

furthermore, I would suggest that we focus on developing those more resilient, frontier-style towns—places where people can actually hear themselves think if, and when, things go south... 🙂🙂 and let the tailors deal with their own messes... 😬

I would also add that in my high-society neighborhood, the neighbors are nothing but loudmouths who bark constantly, yet they never manage to win a single case in court.... 🤣🤣
🙂

Steven Davis66—those brave little tailors aren't going to screw anyone over that easily, mostly because they’d devour seven different associations in court just to get their breakfast.

Generally speaking, everything runs smoothly enough until the grandmothers start barking, the roosters begin crowing, and the dogs decide to take the wheel of a semi-truck.

Everyone has a right to everything.

stormyharbor27 said:I’m sitting just about 375 feet away from a church with four bells weighing in at over 2,200 pounds.

Now there’s an association lobbying to ban the bells from marking the time—treating them like some annoying dog barking for no reason—and trying to silence religious ringing, especially in the mornings.

It’s funny how it’s always the same people complaining about church bells. I don't think I've ever heard anyone (or maybe I missed it) protesting the call to prayer in the USA or any Islamic nation.

stormyharbor27 said:Nobody is banning barking. That dog can bark all it wants.
The rule is just that from 8 PM to 8 AM, it has to stay quiet because its barking is disturbing the immediate neighbor. You know, those so-called "nuisance noises."

I didn't realize my neighbor needed a full twelve hours of uninterrupted sleep; even toddlers don't sleep that long.☕

Same thing happens here. Everything is peaceful and lovely until the weekend hits. Then the local club starts blasting music, which isn't even audible outside. But then the younger crowd gets a little too tipsy, causes a scene inside, gets kicked out, and starts yelling and fighting in the street, and nobody cares. We called the police a few times, but they never did anything or enforced any order. One night, I actually lost it and walked down to the local precinct three separate times—once at midnight, once at 1 AM, and again at 1:30 AM—just begging them to take action. It wasn't until the third time that an officer finally stepped outside with me, mostly just to see what the fuss was about. He gave someone a verbal warning, didn't write a report, and that was it. Luckily, things didn't escalate further that night.

And then you have the people living in tourist towns. Obviously, they rely on tourism; guests come to relax and have fun, and there’s going to be noise and chaos. And yet, they want to ban a poor dog on a chain from barking at night? Give me a break. With today's technology, I don't think there's an animal alive capable of making more noise than a human being.

UN Declaration on Animal Protection, Article 5

Any animal belonging to a species that lives alongside humans has the right to live and thrive according to its own natural rhythm and conditions. Any shift in that rhythm or those living conditions forced upon them by humans just to turn a profit goes against this fundamental right.

I wonder if this actually helps Teddy Roosevelt🤔

just like all those other articles about protecting animals
,since there's also this one part saying humans don't have the right to wipe out entire species—so where does that leave roosters?
Are we going to end up wiping them all out ourselves because of how we act?🤷
here you go

I came across a little piece of info today that hasn't made it into any of the news reports yet...

The prosecutor is actually a huge animal lover. She’s got two dogs, two ducks—they even have their own little pool—and some parrots.

But here's the thing: she doesn't keep her dogs on a leash.

Things are finally starting to make sense. Check out these comments on Fox News:

"Just like a dog owner enjoys their pet's barking, a neighbor has a right to enjoy the peace and quiet of their own home. Dogs bark, sure, but they have to respect the public order and peace established by law. If an owner loves their animal that much, they should just keep it inside the house."

"I have one question: if this owner misses their dog so much, why don't they just let it stay inside with them and call it a day?? Poor little pup, but honestly, it's the owner's fault first and foremost. Just let the dog in the house, for crying out loud, instead of complaining everywhere... it means it's easier for you to watch a dog suffer in a backyard shed than to actually let it inside. That says a lot about you, man."

"It really comes down to personal character and a lack of consideration for neighbors. I have two dogs myself, and I never let them out all night so they won't disturb anyone, and I'll even calm them down during the day if I notice them barking for no reason."

I’m really not into those "he said, she said" type of arguments.
What, am I supposed to just cherry-pick comments that fit my narrative every 24 hours?
Look, either step up your game and actually have a real conversation, or just don't bother at all.🤷

Every dog is different. No two are exactly alike. One might be a total lapdog, while another is definitely not house-trained.🤷
Teddy didn't live in a house; now he's behind bars..
If Grandma has dogs, I personally feel for them.🤷

Alright, is anyone actually going to give me a direct link to an article that explains what's happening here? 🙂 I asked that right in my first post, but everyone is just acting like they didn't hear me. 🙂 Now I'm just getting annoyed. 😠

The prosecutor is a huge animal lover. She actually has two dogs, two ducks (they have their own pool), and some parakeets.

But she doesn't keep her dogs on leashes.

So basically all her pets just hang out in the house with her? One duck swimming in the kitchen sink, another in the bathtub, parakeets flying everywhere, and the dogs just chilling at the table.🙂

right here it names the neighbor and explains exactly how she treated him in the article.

The owner, Medina, claims the issues with the neighbor started the day they got their dog. Veselka Vukotić, whose house is about fifty feet away, made it clear from the start that she wasn't a fan of the new pet. He claims she first sprayed him with water and then started throwing stones. Apparently, she did the same thing to his previous dog, but that one passed away before Medina moved in. This feud has been dragging on for three years now.

"We initially asked her to stop harassing our dog, but she wouldn't listen. We talked to her so many times, begging her to leave him alone. She always acted like she felt bad and would stop bothering him."
But then she turned around and sued us. Teddy doesn't actually bark much—he only reacts when he sees a cat or a stranger approaches the yard. He’s almost silent at night, according to Simunovic.

And then she acts shocked that the dog barks. ☕ Personally, I'd round up every hooligan in town and throw a massive late-night party with cheap wine right under her window just so everyone could howl and bark all night long ☕ and if she can't handle it, she should just move. ☕

hiddenmarlin14 said:Right here. He mentions his neighbor's name and goes into detail later in the article about how she used to treat him.

And then people act all surprised when the dog starts barking. Like, give me a break. ☕ I’d honestly just round up the whole neighborhood hooligans and throw a massive bonfire party right under her window. Just constant noise, shouting, and chaos all night long with some hot spiked cider to keep the energy up. ☕ If she’s got a problem with it, she can just pack her bags and move. ☕

Etto, I told you so.☕

Honestly, I think the neighbor should have just given him a quick swat with a broom—you know, right on the backside... then maybe, just maybe, the dog would have finally stopped all that incessant barking.☕

Honestly, I'm thinking Teddy would make an incredible guard dog for the newly elected President.
Everyone’s stressing about her security once she moves into the White House, but this would solve everything—two birds, one stone.🥳
