Is there any way to pick up a medical ID bracelet locally here in the States? I’m thinking of something that clearly lists a specific condition—like severe allergies or certain chronic illnesses—just in case someone is involved in an accident and needs immediate info.

Furthermore, I find myself wondering if this would actually be taken seriously by first responders in our medical system. If a patient shows up at an ER wearing one of these, would the staff truly notice and act on it? I have these nagging doubts about whether medical professionals even recognize them as legitimate tools, and if they would actually make a difference in a crisis.
In short, is there a physical storefront where I could find such an item, or am I strictly relegated to online shopping?

So much reading, yet absolutely nobody seems to have a clue what’s actually going on?
🤔
