Best scanner recommendations?

Hey, I need a scanner. Specifically, I want to scan batches of 20, 50, maybe even 100 small photos in just a few minutes. Right now, everything I’m seeing is sitting around $250 to $300. Is there anything actually affordable out there, or is that just the standard price range? I don't care if it's wireless or tethered—I just need it to handle those quick bursts without breaking the bank. Any suggestions?

I assume these images are individual files, so you should probably treat them like a deck of cards and feed them through an automatic document feeder scanner.
Check Craigslist or just ask someone working at a major corporation or a federal agency; they almost always have those high-end machines lying around.
