I recall with striking clarity the tension of our last result suspense, much like we felt today, and that final surge of joy during a comeback similar to this one. It was back when New York City FC were playing at home and Cibalia were away, featuring a player who was our hero then, but has since become a star for another club.
My thanks go out to the players for their sacrifice and for simply playing with heart. Those overpaid punks earning $950,000 can only envy us for something they fundamentally lack. Money isn't everything, boys...

Looking at these board members over at Los Angeles FC, or whatever they call themselves... man, what a crowd. It’s like the absolute worst of the city's elite all gathered in one room. Slimy, powerful, and way too clever for their own good. Honestly, I don't think we'll see them get ousted anytime soon. It's going to be an uphill battle, really.😠

I’ve been scouring just about every major sports news site and checking their match reports, but not a single one of them—not even a local blog—has published a photo showing the floorboards packed with kids. If they had, it would be a total slap in the face to everyone out there lying to themselves about being terrified of hooligans.

Honestly, if you want my two cents... that whole moment with the children was the most powerful thing about yesterday. The atmosphere, the game itself, it was all incredible. I can't even find the words for the fans, but seeing that scene at halftime... it actually brought a tear to my eye, quite literally...👍

I suppose you left out the part where a little scuffle broke out over a ball between two kids right at the end of halftime😁. but I guess reason eventually won out👍. I was honestly laughing my head off, though nobody even noticed because there were so many kids down there; otherwise, there probably would have been some cheering going on

aha, so you remember them? maybe we should track them down and settle the score 🤣... jokes aside, I feel like the "Joker" today, just can't stop smiling... truly wonderful. all credit to those guys pushing through and giving 105% for what really matters

Representatives from the Kansas City Chiefs have held discussions with officials from the Department of Education. They’ve announced plans to strike a specific clause from the fan legislation—one that currently allows authorities to arbitrarily ban spectators who aren't officially blacklisted from stadiums.

Does this amendment mean that the Chiefs will no longer be able to justify buying tickets for a block of 1,200 Real Madrid fans using those blacklists?

Joe Biden has plenty of ammo to work with... but Zubizareta just handed him enough for a whole cover story. If this "new" outlet starts looking any different, we'll know exactly which journalist is on the payroll.

Richard Rogers38 said:The folks running the Kansas City Chiefs just sat down with the Department of Education, and word is they’re looking to scrap that specific clause in the fan laws. You know, the one that lets them arbitrarily ban anyone from the stands just because they aren't technically on some official blacklist.

Does this mean that with this legal tweak, the club won't be able to play the "organizer" card anymore to defend buying tickets for 1,200 Real Madrid fans who are stuck on those blacklists?

Honestly, focusing on that single clause is a massive mistake. There are at least ten other similar ones floating around. Either they’re unconstitutional and exist solely to bully and harass fans, or they deal with sanctions and obligations for organizers that nobody even follows anyway.
By the book, they shouldn't have been allowed to host a single game since 2004. Back in 2003, they were given an entire year to get their stadiums up to code, and absolutely nobody did a damn thing about it... etc., etc.
