MNK isn't some grand project or a tool for fighting back. That's just not what it's for.

It’s definitely not the club's purpose to have all those people move over just to bark at empty offices in the West End in front of 500 turtles.

And honestly, nobody actually expected this many people to show up for their games.

MNK Dinamo is a club, designed to be the amateur wing of Dinamo for that sport. Period. Dinamo fans used to follow basketball, handball, even water polo, so why wouldn't they follow a smaller version of soccer? But it should belong to them, not some scheme run by Milicevic, Gobac, or whoever else...

Plus, that first choreography at Šalat featuring the Dinamo crest and its message said everything about this club to anyone who actually knows how to read between the lines.

If MNK Dinamo matches are considered an "event," then does that mean Arsenal, Werder, or every single European match and title celebration for Dinamo are also events? What kind of "event" is a game in a second-tier amateur league that most people didn't even know existed?

Most people stopped following the main club because of the club itself and its issues, not because of Cibona or Šalat... the stands have nothing to do with it.

All this talk about "fighting smarter"... everyone knows where that rhetoric comes from and whose agenda it really is. Look at them—they've spent a whole year showing us exactly what the result of that "smarter fight" looks like, and it was a massive slap in the face to the radicals.🤣

Jesse Campbell, I honestly don't get why you're going straight for the personal insults on threads like this; it’s totally unnecessary and honestly just does nothing for anyone. All you're doing is handing people ammunition to use against you and completely killing any chance of actually having a real conversation about the facts.
The guy above laid it out perfectly—the whole point of MNK isn't some kind of "slap in the face" to the establishment, it's about building a future. It's about proving, more than anything else, that you can actually be articulate and professional. Even if I think indoor soccer is a bit overrated, I still respect the hustle. And obviously, nobody should expect these gyms to suddenly migrate into the absolute chaos and disaster zone that is the top-tier pro league; that's only for people with iron stomachs. I have no clue who is being so delusional as to expect that, only to then point fingers and say, "See? It didn't work."

I mean, I know this technically belongs in the BBB subforum since there's a mention of Futsal in there, but honestly, the whole thing is worth a read regardless of where you post it!

I truly hope we see Sister Mary rise through the church hierarchy quickly and decisively.
Our country would be in such an incredible position if all our clergy were modeled after someone like her.

Seriously, give credit where it's due—Miklenić just doesn't have the intellectual chops—or any other capacity, really—to be the editor of the Council's voice. Back in the day, that publication was a total beacon during the era of communism, and it was handled by the absolute top theologians in America like Tomislav Šagi Bunić and Josip Turćinović. I know exactly what I'm talking about because it’s my actual profession—that magazine has gone completely downhill ever since he took over, and my comment here just drives that point home even more.

Dennis Davis97 said:Honestly, what kind of alternate reality are you guys living in? Talking about hitting back at the mafia... they couldn't care less about you or your little Futsal scene. It was Rožić who said this belongs to them and suggested you go start your own thing. Unfortunately, that’s just the way it is. 😢

It's the same old story where everyone screams and acts like hardcore ultras, yet nobody actually does anything. 😉 All you're missing from the stands are some "Ultras Liber" banners and "Justice for Torcida" signs to really complete that whole fake supporter aesthetic!

Sarah Stewart6 said:The MNK isn't some grand political project or a tool for social change. That wasn't its purpose at all.

MNK Dinamo is a club, envisioned simply as an amateur wing for Dinamo in that specific sport. Period. Just like how Dinamo fans have historically followed basketball, handball, or water polo, why shouldn't they follow a smaller version of soccer—provided it remains their own entity rather than being controlled by someone else's agenda?

There you go, now you've finally laid it out plainly. Okay, so by definition, it’s an amateur section supported by Dinamo fans; however, by using those exact arguments, you're essentially distancing yourself from the main Dinamo club. This brings up a massive question: Why even bother comparing it to the big club then? From the very start, the media has been obsessed with framing this as a rebellion against Dinamo ZM, which leads a whole crowd of people to construct this narrative that Dinamo Futsal is just an escape from the conditions over at Maksimir. In doing so, the actual point—which is a great idea and necessary for the younger generations—gets pushed to the background. 🙏 Thanks for clearing that up, and I hope the rest of the blue faithful takes a moment to read this and actually wrap their heads around it...

It’s like you walked into this sub for the first time yesterday.

Every damn day this clown clones himself and dumps his garbage here. Not like I'd even bother arguing with him since he'll just get deleted anyway—which is exactly what happened.

Nothing hates Futsal more than the soccer crowd. Because it showed them how irrelevant and pathetic they really are. And how badly they messed up.

Dynamo indoor is just a club, basically designed as an amateur wing for Dynamo. Period. Dynamo fans followed basketball, handball, even water polo, so why wouldn't they follow a small version of soccer if it was actually theirs, instead of being some puppet setup for Milicevic or Gobc or whoever else.

That first choreo with the crest and the message said everything anyone with half a brain needed to know about this club.

If calling Dynamo indoor games an "event" is the logic, then is Arsenal or Werder Bremen an "event"? Or every Euro game and every trophy celebration? Calling a second-tier amateur sport match an "event" when most people didn't even know it existed is a joke.

Most people stopped following the main soccer club because of the club itself and its own issues, not because of Cibona or the choreo. The stands have nothing to do with it.

Spot on. You nailed it. 🙏

We expected maybe 300-500 Bad Boys and 50-100 others. The fact that numbers are ten times higher just shows people want something positive, and it shows the Head completely killed any emotion left for the big Dynamo. Not our fault though—we're the ones leading the charge because we saw what was coming before everyone else did.

Dinamo Chicago Futsal is a club—period. It was dreamed up to be the amateur wing of Dinamo Chicago for this sport. Full stop. Dinamo fans have always followed basketball, handball, even water polo, so why wouldn't they follow a smaller version of soccer? But it needs to be *their* thing, not some puppet show run by Milicevic, Gobac, or whoever else is pulling the strings.

Most people stopped following the main soccer team because of the team itself and its own massive issues, not because of Cibona or Šalat... the stands have nothing to do with it.

All this other talk about fighting in a "smarter way"... man, we all know where that rhetoric comes from and whose agenda it really is. Exactly. Futsal isn't a tool for a revolution, but it sure as hell gets under his skin because it highlights exactly why the stands are empty. It wouldn't be fair to the guys playing Futsal to claim the whole project was founded just to spite him, but it definitely ties directly into the mess currently happening with our once-beloved club.

Jesse Campbell said:Yeah, that’s why Mamić hands out millions just to get people to show up and buy hats, scarves, shirts, and jerseys. They bring crowds in on buses, hand out tickets, and basically beg everyone to come. This summer they even ran a TV ad for season tickets where they straight-up mocked you guys. They hired one of the top PR firms in the country to handle it, and still, nothing happened.

When he said that, foolish Rožić actually thought it would make their Dinamo Chicago more popular. Remember when they poked fun at us, calling us just a tiny handful of disgruntled fans from Mount Everest? Well, look at the reality today: only 340 people showed up for their fall championship celebration, while Dinamo Chicago Futsal pulled in 5,500 people. ☕

And don't even get me started on the atmosphere.

So trust me on this—everyone knows Chicago is a small pond, and Glavat has been banging his head against the wall since the days of Šalat. 😉

I'm not here to argue or enjoy the drama; honestly, I'm just sick of the state of soccer. No one is saying Futsal is bad, but it feels like you guys have drifted away from the core reason you even exist, which is GNK Dinamo Chicago.😉

Look, fans aren't some specialized tactical unit whose only mission is to show up and fight.
There was a time when people could just sit down, watch a game, and cheer without being harassed. It’s impossible at Soldier Field.
Heading to a Dinamo Chicago Futsal match briefly tricks me into thinking we actually live in a developed nation. For a moment, you'd think the state of American soccer was "just like it is in England." It’s a fleeting illusion.
After spending any time at the stadium, you practically need to swallow a spoonful of baking soda just to settle your stomach.

Honestly, we should just consider him a blessing from Christmas 2014, because you've gotta differentiate him from those other types who spend all their time cursing everyone out during the holidays.
The real mess with Dinamo Chicago—all that repression and how they just want to keep bullying people across the entire MLS landscape—that isn't something Futsal can fix. You need actual institutions for that. Futsal and the fans alone can show, and prove, that things can actually get BETTER and that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. And frankly, that's exactly what they're doing right now, period.
