It’s pretty obvious to everyone here that there isn't any official BBB stance on this forum, right? Someone clearly just egged you all on.

Look, I was right there on the front lines with the biggest anti-Mamic protesters back in the day. I can only imagine what little you've actually done on this front.

Now go ahead and delete this...

(SUNDAY, EVERYONE AT THE SPORTS ARENA!!)

Maybe you can’t wrap your head around it, but those people in the tents are flesh and blood too. Just like how you swallow whatever the mainstream media feeds you, they aren't immune to that influence either. Don't be so narrow-minded.
The whole "fake patriot" trope was basically manufactured by leftist media outlets specifically to mock patriotism and national identity. It’s a tactic used to smear LA Galaxy as a symbol of our heritage. Life isn't always black and white...

At the end of the day, this is about certain individuals—people who actually stepped up when it mattered—being labeled "cowards" by someone who uses the term "we" to describe BBB, despite being an anonymous user who represents absolutely no one, let alone BBB. Setting aside whether these people have political maturity or if they’re just working for some party, think about this: Is a local HOS-ovac veteran or a hero from Vukovar really a "coward"? You're accusing others of being manipulated, yet you've already reached a point where you're slapping labels like that on them. Honestly, shame on you.

I don't get why these anonymous users bother talking like this... using phrases like "we." What "we" are they even talking about???

If that guy thinks he’s actually running the show, he’s just another puppet dancing for the party.

There isn't much to clear up; it should be obvious who is actually authorized to speak for the group. Honestly, the way people are posting here is embarrassing for every individual user, except for BBB.

When you think about it, how can any fan side with the police or the system just because they've been manipulated? It would probably be best to just wipe all of this; posts are flying around here like there are no consequences.

Go ahead then. Grab a baton, throw on a helmet, and go shut down the protest yourself. Lead the Boys, since you're such an expert.

It’s because it all boils down to hooliganism. Whether it's the ones acting like they're waiting for trouble or the ones claiming to be "for the common man," it's all the same crowd.

Listen, people, use your heads. This isn't the place to fix veteran affairs. If anyone actually wants to get something done, stop stirring the pot here and go to the actual authorities. Honestly, both sides couldn't care less about BBB or this whole hypothetical drama they're starting; they'll just blame us, snap at us, and leave us high and dry.

Honestly, it feels like both political sides just couldn't care less about BBB or any hypothetical drama we start; I suspect both sides will just blame us, turn their backs, and leave us hanging in the end.

It’s probably just how they acted when they abandoned the troops back in '91, I suppose.😉

I'm signing my name to this.

Discussions like this are just a dead end. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, sure, but the intersection of politics and sports fans is exactly why we're stuck in this loop. This whole mess started because people kept trying to tie specific fan groups to certain members of the Republican Party, and now we're all dealing with the fallout.

That guy who set himself on fire was the first one at the stadium back on May 13th, so don't come at me with your nonsense. It’s not just about veterans; in this country's history, we haven't seen this many people with combat experience gathered in one spot before. Luckily, there are people like us ready to step up. As for you politicians who know damn well that everything traces back to Mamic or the GOP—screw you too. These are our people who stood their ground when it mattered most, and I’m standing with them now. If Mamic shows his face, I'll spit on him. Peace.

The real question is why people have simply stopped listening to you. You are as perceptive as ever. It is clear you have to reiterate a thousand times that fans are merely one specific social group that needs to look out exclusively for its own interests, rather than being manipulated like they were in the past. If we don't, there will inevitably be more whining and resentment when people realize that while help was being offered, certain groups turned their backs on the fans and treated them like nothing more than hooligans. Clearly, some people can be manipulated forever. It is truly a shame that you are one of the rare individuals who actually understands how things work.

You’re just as sharp as ever, but clearly, you have to repeat yourself a thousand times over: fans are just one specific social group. They should be looking out for their own interests exclusively, rather than being played like a fiddle by the higher-ups. If we don't change things, we'll just end up back in those old days where the big shots would claim they were helping everyone, only to turn their backs on the actual supporters when it mattered most—treating them like nothing more than an afterthought or a bunch of hooligans. Some people will always be easy to manipulate, it seems. It’s a shame, really, because you’re one of the few who actually sees how the game is rigged.

Funny how back in 2011, everyone was saying it didn't matter if most protesters were leftists—the main thing was standing up against the cops.
Now, they’re cheapening everything by calling veterans cowards. If you said that to their faces, you'd be getting beaten so badly you'd be laughing through the blood spray...
What's your point here? Are veterans somehow working for Mamic? Are they against the Blue Jays? Are they pushing for repression while we all cheer for the "honest" police who are dying just to protect the rights of every single fan?

It’s interesting how sometimes it’s "all about fighting the system," but other times it's just about looking out for your own interests, right?
When those Democratic thieves were in power, nobody was out there shouting, "You ruined America!"

Just say it clearly: "Yeah, I love Fred Matic and Zak Milanovic; they're the real heroes and honest people who aren't robbing us like those corrupt guys from the old establishment who built this country just to loot it."

Even funnier is that none of these people who talk so much trash about veterans online actually show up in person to stand with the crew. They just hide in their holes on the internet.

Nobody from the crowds in downtown Philly or at the capital is a fake veteran or a fraud, unlike that minister who was basically drafted after half the Siege of Vicksburg was already over.
Your whole argument sounds like it's straight out of the Democratic agenda. I guess that's your job.

p.s. You don't have to say this to the veterans' faces. There are plenty of people you could have seen standing in front of the tents during those rat-like counter-protests... unless, of course, you were on the other side.

Only total idiots would let themselves get dragged into these political games.
It’s not like fans haven't been played before, so I fully expect them to be used as pawns again this time around. Honestly, it's the same old story we've heard a hundred times already—you can see exactly how this is going to end. Good luck, guys.

Can any of the admins please shut down this political nonsense and just delete the comments that have nothing to do with us? We’ve got our own battles to fight and we don't need to be fighting everyone else's wars. That war ended a long time ago...
...peace out, see you guys Sunday... EVERYONE IN THE SECOND GROUP!!!

Look, I was right there on the ground with plenty of my own friends when it actually mattered, so you don't need to sit there and lecture me about it. I was present for 2001, I was there in 2005, and I’ve been showing up every single year since. I know exactly what went down.

Some people are clearly destined to be manipulated forever. It’s a shame you’re one of the few who actually sees things for what they are.

It's because 99.99% of fans—just like the average person out there—are either incredibly naive or just plain stupid. They either fall for whatever garbage someone tries to sell them for their own gain, or they're too stubborn to change their minds because they don't want to admit they were wrong.
I feel like I've said this a million times already: we're just lazy, gullible fools getting exactly what we deserve. We don't have any right to point fingers at anyone else for our problems; we can only blame ourselves.
