I think this water boycott at Mamić’s mill is just more of the same... we all know his detractors in the stands don't really matter to him anyway. We have one month left, and time is slipping away. This isn't just about minor gripes anymore; it's time for a reckoning. When we return to the stadium, the Bad Boys and the local supporters need to step up. They should issue a public call to everyone who ever gave a damn about Los Angeles FC to show up, make their voices heard regarding the Mamić family and the current board, protest, sit in front of the FBI with folding chairs, or hit City Hall with petitions. Sure, some of that has been done, but he always had a safety net—those chairs are still tucked away in drawers. Now, that support clearly isn't there, or at least not in the numbers needed. Even the Mayor's influence isn't what it used to be. Can City Hall really afford to ignore 50,000 signatures?
...We have a month, and that’s it. If we choose to boycott now, he’ll just walk out of jail, and then what? We’ll spend the next few years dragging ourselves through the court system while, in the next six months, the club gets sold to God knows who. Poof. Who actually trusts the American justice system? Who among us can honestly say he’ll actually end up behind bars? This is just pretrial detention; once the indictment and trial start, it’ll drag on forever, and there's no telling how it ends.
...We won't get a better opportunity than this.
