Honestly, a podium finish would be just about right. Nothing more, nothing less.

Unless some kind of mechanical failure pops up out of nowhere—which, let's be honest, is always a possibility—I just don't see what could possibly stop Lewis from absolutely tearing up the track for a fourth time at this incredible circuit

Across all four of those races, Fernando Alonso is going to take the win.

As for Kimi Raikkonen—he'll be finishing outside the points.

It’s pretty interesting to watch... it looks like they managed to tweak something at Ferrari, and while I doubt they can actually maintain this pace for long, it seems like (at least for Fernando Alonso) they might finally be able to pose a bit of a threat.

From what I can gather, the front wing looks slightly different; they seem to have refined the area just above the exhaust and went back to using two vertical reinforcements. Meanwhile, looking at Mercedes, it seems like one car moved from two down to just one, Red Bull is running a single reinforcement, and Williams doesn't seem to have any at all (??)

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Ferrari—even if Free Practice 1 doesn't tell us much. At least they aren't completely falling apart or looking like total jokes, which is a change from what we've grown used to lately. Was there anything actually interesting happen during the session? Anything worth noting?

It appears that Ferrari isn't looking particularly bad at all; even Sebastian Vettel seems to be finding some footing. One can't help but wonder, though—will they actually be able to maintain this level of performance when the pressure of qualifying really begins to mount?
