Nico Rosberg was just too smooth; he didn't give Lewis Hamilton even a shred of a chance. Not a single meaningful attack from Lewis, despite spending about 80% of the race sitting right on his gearbox, less than a second behind...
Ric... the first of the pack... (once he moves into the red zone, he’ll officially be my personal favorite 😁 ).
Alonso... predictably solid as always.
The Bianchi/Raikkonen situation 🙏🙏

Kimi Raikkonen had such a brilliant start to open up the race, but then things went south—first with that unlucky puncture, and then he completely botched his attempt at an overtake toward the end.🙂

And as for Fetlić... well, he’s doing okay, I suppose... he's basically driving Weber's old car this season.😁

That's 9th place after the penalty 🙏

I’ve actually got to say, I am quite enjoying seeing things heat up over at Mercedes—it makes things much more interesting! 😍

Felipe Massa had an absolutely stellar race today.

As for Jules Bianchi... 😍😍

Kimi, man, what a masterclass in a start! He completely outmaneuvered Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, and Daniel Ricciardo, but then—well, life happens, and everything just sort of fell apart.

It was almost frustrating to watch Fernando Alonso stay practically invisible for the entire duration of the race.

Honestly, I think Daniel Ricciardo is going to be my driver of choice for the next ten years. 😁

Nico Rosberg absolutely deserved that win.
Jules Bianchi was top-tier, scoring those first points for Marussia.
Daniel Ricciardo is hands down a better driver than Sebastian Vettel at this point, no question about it. If he hadn't dealt with all those mechanical failures and disqualifications, he’d be sitting on another 30 points right now. In my book, he's easily the driver of the season.
Kimi Raikkonen is honestly so overrated. Comparing Alonso to Raikkonen—it's 61 to 17, just pure shuffling. It’s almost on par with how much the Red Bull duo is struggling. ☕

Jules Bianchi is an incredible driver—getting those first points for Marussia was huge.
And honestly? Daniel Ricciardo is now undeniably better than Sebastian Vettel. If it weren't for all those mechanical failures and disqualifications, he would have walked away with at least 30 more points. In my book, he’s easily the Driver of the Season.

You're conveniently forgetting how Kimi sent Alonso spinning right at the start, aren't you? And as for Max Chilton picking him up and completely ruining his race—well, shit happens.

Look, I’m being totally objective here when I say Kimi Raikkonen was actually outperforming Fernando Alonso during that first stretch of the race before the second Scuderia Ferrari safety car came out.

Beyond that, who knows how things would have played out, but honestly, thanks to him for pulling that brain fart and basically handing Jules Bianchi a shot at scoring points. 👍

It's anyone's guess how things would have played out after that, but hey, we owe him a little thanks for that silly mistake—it certainly helped Jules Bianchi grab some points! 👍

Fair and accurate enough. 🙂

Felipe Massa had a killer race.

Jules Bianchi 😍😍

Kimi—man, what a masterclass start. He completely fooled both Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo... then, well, life happens.

Alonso was basically invisible the entire race.

Daniel Ricciardo is going to be my driver for the next ten years. 😁

Meanwhile, over on the Raikkonen-Alonso thread, people are busy whining about how Kimi just tricked them. 😁

What a bunch of losers. 😁

What absolute losers, 😁

Honestly, don't even bother stepping foot in there—trying to be objective in that thread is basically a suicide mission.

And you aren't even mentioning how Daniel Ricciardo completely botched the start, which was such a mess considering he's usually a total maestro at launching... 😍

Ricciardo totally screwed up the maestro's start, basically handing that paid driver a free pass to dive right past him... Max just stepped in later and put everything back where it belonged... 😉

Kimi Raikkonen is incredibly overrated. Alonso vs. Kimi Raikkonen at 61 to 17? It's basically just a slap in the face. Not even close to the level of the Red Bull duo. ☕

Here you go again... :banghead:

I'm not even sure about that. It really comes down to how things would have played out if there hadn't been an SC. Just as dustycyclist19 started losing that lead, Daniel Ricciardo was already breathing down his neck. My guess is they both were just nursing their tires and trying to hang on for one or two more laps. Ricciardo would have definitely overtaken him, and while it would've been harder for dustycyclist19, it wasn't impossible.

Kimi had a fantastic start and pulled off a phenomenal move on Ricciardo during that first restart, but if his pace had been truly insane...

Just as Alonso started losing his edge, Ricciardo was already breathing down his neck. My gut feeling? They were both likely just nursing their tires, trying to hang on for another lap or two. I think Ricciardo would have definitely made the move; Alonso might have put up a fight, but it wouldn't have been impossible for him to lose it.

Kimi Kimi Raikkonen had an incredible start, and that first restart was pure magic when he managed to pull ahead of Ricciardo—though, if his pace had been absolutely blistering...

Besides, overtaking someone at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is usually a total piece of cake.🤣

Huge props to them. Honestly, I'm thrilled for the team, even if it absolutely kills me that Kamui Kobayashi didn't get to make the most of this shot. 😢

Just look at them. Instead of actually discussing the intense rivalry brewing between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, or celebrating Charles Leclerc grabbing those first career points, they’re wasting their breath on these tiny, insignificant details.

Kimi's race pace was actually looking pretty solid right up until the SC hit...

If he hadn't been caught out by Charles Leclerc, we wouldn't have even seen that whole circus toward the end of the race. Honestly, his performance at the finish was impressive, especially considering he had to pit three times...
