Insulted and banned from the football match

I am asking the admins to please lift my partial ban from the soccer section.

It all started after I made a little joke where I called Ben Affleck actually Serbenfik, and then I poked some fun at CBS for broadcasting the exact same game twice instead of showing Sevilla FC and Ivan Rakitić... and because of that, one of the users actually called for a moderator to ban me.

The specific question being asked was:

Where are you guys now, what were you talking about earlier when you said the Juve game would be better?

So I replied:

There they are on CBS.

Celebrating Serbenfik's victory.

Then someone calls for a moderator...

I really hope a smart moderator shows up to hand out some penalties for this nonsense.

And then Edge appears, and hands me a partial ban.

He didn't issue any penalties for commenting on the moderation itself, of course.

Nor did he penalize the insults directed at my username, or the betting talk accompanied by smiley faces.

In doing so, the moderator Edge broke several fundamental forum rules while simultaneously allowing other users to be insulted, which isn't surprising given that this same moderator personally insulted me on a different thread a few months back, calling me a "pathological troll"...

I should note that I haven't insulted a single user here, whereas insults like these, occurring on that very same thread, have gone completely unpunished.

Idiots always exist, what can you do. We can't kill them, we can only ban them.

There is so much garbage written in the soccer section, and my comments are nothing compared to it, especially considering I only post there occasionally after interesting games and things like that... but in the soccer section, it seems everything is allowed for some people, while others get nothing at all.

I don't find myself posting on this forum nearly as much as I used to, and honestly, a huge part of that comes down to the sadistic way some of the moderators handle things... It feels like they still haven't grasped the idea that a community exists because of its members, not because of a handful of mods, nor is the soul of this place defined by just one perspective...

But I won't dwell on that too long, because I’d rather circle back to the start and demand they scrap those partial bans in soccer, since there isn't a single logical reason why I should be penalized for slightly tweaking the name of a club from Portugal when practically every other thread on this site is filled with people talking about the scandals surrounding the owners at Benfica...

Just a week before that ban, you were warned—along with everyone else on the topic—to stop insisting that some idiot fan is rooting for FC Barcelona just because they have Mexicans on the roster instead of supporting Sevilla FC where Ivan Rakitić plays. Football has become an unreadable mess of trolling for a long time now, mostly thanks to those forum members who act like the moderators' little buddies...

They seem to be allowed to do whatever they want, which I demonstrated quite clearly with the links I posted above... whereas for someone like me, who only pops in from time to time, apparently, nothing is permitted...

The fact that I was being humiliated and insulted without anyone stepping in also points toward a complete catastrophe in terms of moderation, though naturally, you didn't bother addressing that part...

Besides, it feels a bit ridiculous to talk about trolling on the PDF football forum when almost every single discussion there gets hijacked by talk about Zdravko Mamić...

But I won't ramble on too much, because the links I shared earlier really say everything that needs to be said...

In this eyes, I am the "Mexican-style" one, the "idiot," and the "insecure one," while you all get to be the "brilliant moderators"...

Look, I don't have the authority to hand out partial bans on my own. That’s a collective decision made by the entire moderation team. You received a partial ban because we all agree you're just here to provoke people and troll. Even other users on the Forum—you saw this yourself the other night—view you as a provocateur. It’s funny how one person gets penalized for mentioning Serbenfica, yet when someone posts something clearly Mexican-style, they get nothing but laughs, applause, and pats on the back...

That, combined with all the stuff you were spewing on this exact same thread last week, was simply the straw that broke the camel's back—and it was a massive straw! As Ryan Vaughn7 says, your profile is absolutely loaded with warnings, which proves my point perfectly.
You don't post here constantly, but whenever you do show up, you seem determined to troll the sub. Because of that, you aren't exactly the most welcome person on this forum. At least, not for now.

The moderators and supermods have already laid everything out clearly. Honestly, I don’t have anything else to add—the partial ban was totally justified, and there aren't any plans to lift it anytime soon. You might want to be a little more careful with how you phrase things in the rest of the forum.
