Look, we can talk all we want, and sure, Linux or macOS aren't bad—actually, they're great—but for the average person, Windows is just way easier. You get the best software support and everything else you need.
There might be a Linux alternative for things like accounting or whatever, but only Windows has the real deal.

Honestly, some people here would be better off downgrading to Windows 3.1, unplugging their Ethernet cable, and just heading straight back to the Stone Age

I’ve started noticing a pattern—whenever I have FF open with maybe 4 tabs, and I’m watching something on YouTube that’s an hour and a half long, or just bingeing several clips in a row, my memory usage spikes to 90%. Is this a browser issue, or is Windows 7 Ultimate just failing me?

What’s the Task Manager saying about what's eating up all this RAM? And does that memory actually clear out once you kill FF?

I have an older Dell laptop that originally came pre-installed with Windows 7 Pro back when I first bought it. There is a sticker located right under the battery that contains the product key. Right now, the machine is running various versions of Linux, but I am wondering if there is any way to download legitimate copies of Windows so that I can perform a fresh installation using that specific code.
