Why on earth would you close the thread titled "Annual Award for the Greatest Anti-Fascist"?

Your reasoning just doesn't really hold water for me, especially since your claim that there aren't any fascists present isn't being backed up by anyone nominated in the discussion who seems to think otherwise...

So, I’m asking you, please, just reopen the thread and let us finish this process properly so we can carry out the vote in a truly democratic way...

Thanks in advance for considering this.

My moderator note explaining why I closed this thread remains unchanged.

Try approaching this differently, without the labeling.

Maybe try approaching this from a different angle without resorting to labels...

Honestly, I think the people actually nominated would probably wear that "ultimate anti-fascist" label with a sense of pride...🙂

But then you have to wonder how we’re supposed to describe the folks who spot fascism in every single shadow, while you're over here insisting it doesn't exist at all...

Are they just schizophrenic anti-fascists? 🙂

Is that how we put it?

Should we hand out an annual award for schizophrenic anti-fascism? 🙂

To be perfectly honest, that sounds even more fitting to me, but hey, you're the one in charge...

Go ahead then, give me a suggestion for a better thread title...🙂

Come on, Charles Fox10, I’m really counting on you here because I am genuinely stuck on how to label those nominees...

Maybe just call them "anti-fascists," using quotation marks to keep things a bit ambiguous...

Actually, if I recall correctly, that’s exactly how I phrased the topic title earlier, putting "anti-fascists" in quotes...

If you happen to have a better way to put it, please don't hesitate to share...

Or perhaps someone else in the group might have a thought, since I'm definitely open to any suggestions that come my way...

Thanks in advance for the help...

This thread has been sitting here for days, and honestly, it’s just an eyesore at this point:

Brainwashing kids with fascist propaganda—glamorizing extremist ideologies in cartoons! 🤣

And you actually have the nerve to suggest, Charles Fox10, that my topic was just some kind of "Annual Award for the Greatest Anti-Fascist"? It was totally unjustified to lock this down.

Come on, don't play games with me. 😉

I’m not saying that wasn't your intention, but you're really making me look like a complete idiot here... 🙂

So, either unlock the thread or at least offer some sort of constructive way forward.

Thanks in advance.

I was convinced I’d pinned him down—someone who turned Pilatus into cartoon characters in compromising poses with their right hands outstretched, specifically Donald Duck, Thomas, and SpongeBob, before you appropriately sent him to hell. But fine, I stand corrected.

So, if there aren't even fascists in cartoons, does that mean there's no such thing as anti-fascists either?

Look, I'm not messing with you or treating you like an idiot; it just feels like you're trying to get one over on me because you can't be bothered to come up with a better headline, right?

Come on, just give me a title without all the labeling and we can run this Annual Awards thing again. You couldn't ask for a fairer deal than that.

Way to go, Chuck. You really nailed it.🤣

The only real issue seems to be... It isn't forbidden. On Politics, you're allowed to "tag" public figures; the only thing that actually breaks the rules is tagging other users or forum members.

This topic has been debated endlessly on FEMA. The last time Edge called some bishop a "fool"—or used any other label for American politicians and public figures—the conclusion was always the same: there's no apology coming, and nobody's going to defend it.

What are you even doing here? Only God knows, I suppose...
