Rain's coming our way.🤷

Expect a
Safety Car and some wet patches all over the track...
And you can bet
Felipe Massa will be right in the middle of that mess... He probably should have
practiced for this back in Monaco... But hey, if he struggles, Kamui Kobayashi is right there to step in, and he's
already put in the work too...
😍🤣

Seriously, darkmarlin16, what's the point of posting the race time if I have to manually convert the time zone myself? It’s just extra work...

steelmaker83 said:Give me a break, darkmarlin16. What kind of logic is it to list the times without specifying the zone? Now I have to sit here and manually convert everything to my local time...

Look, the Saturday timing was slightly off, but I'll get it fixed!
😁

EDIT:
There, all fixed!
😁

So, they’ve officially confirmed the two DRS zones: you've got the standard one from turns 5 to 7, plus the stretch on the start-finish straight.

Looks like everyone’s lost interest in talking before the race even starts.
Probably because there isn't a shred of uncertainty left, neither for this race nor the championship itself.

So, we're likely looking at another Red Bull Racing win to keep the streak alive.
Does anyone actually see anyone else stepping up to challenge them, even for a second?

Probably because there’s zero suspense left—for the race itself or the championship.

So, looks like another Red Bull Racing and Mercedes dominance streak.
Is there actually anyone who can challenge them right now, even for a second?

It's been going on for ages... seriously. 😁
In my view, Red Bull-Mercedes will lock out the front two spots, making the rest just routine.

I'm more interested in potential on-track scraps involving the Massa-Kimi-Alonso trio—that's the spice needed to set the stage for next season. Things could get messy there.

Williams Racing might pull off a surprise in qualifying... unlikely, though. 😁

Mercedes actually looked like they had a legitimate shot at winning in Monaco—maybe they’ll catch a lucky break again. Not that it really moves the needle for the championship standings, though... so, whatever. 🤷

Well, there's the Gearbox...
Either it's already blown, or they swap it out and take a grid penalty. Whatever happens, it's a mess.

Turn 10 (that chicane) has been converted back into a standard corner, so I suspect we might see a new lap record this year.

Perhaps it's simply a lack of suspense, both for this specific event and for the championship at large.

So, an extension of the Mercedes and Red Bull Racing dominance looks all but certain.
Is there anyone actually capable of challenging them right now, even momentarily?

To be honest, my mind is already drifting toward 2014 and the excitement awaiting us with the new engine regulations and the inevitable intra-team battles (specifically Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso, though perhaps Grosjean and Hulkenberg if my predictions hold and Grosjean plays it smart by pairing up with Hulkenberg).

It’s definitely not over yet. We still have seven races left on the calendar, and if we look at the time of year and the typical weather patterns for these tracks, I'd bet at least two of them will be rain-soaked.
I’m fully expecting to see more DNFs and some lackluster performances from the heavy hitters when the pressure really starts mounting.
Who knows? Maybe the team decides to go all out on Sebastian Vettel now that he's within striking distance of the title—they’ve got absolutely nothing to lose at this point.
Though, I can't say I'm putting much faith in that penalty for the Gearbox...

Exactly, it’s definitely worth keeping that in mind.

I honestly think things don't get much easier for Alonso when he's navigating that particular corner.

Mercedes and Red Bull Racing are absolutely crushing it!!!
Everyone else is just playing in a different league. I think Kimi Raikkonen was P5, but he looked pretty rattled...
Ferrari is basically just cruising through the streets of the Miami Grand Prix Circuit... 😁

It was actually kind of weird seeing the track during the day...

I mean, I really don't think it's easy for Alonso when he's flying through that one specific turn.
