Brit Floyd - Best Pink Floyd concert at Madison Square Garden, Washington, D.C.

That was actually pretty incredible 🙂
Sound quality was spot on. I’d be complaining if I hadn't been there.
It's honestly eerie how much those two male vocals mimic Roger Waters and David Gilmour. 😁 I can't even imagine the amount of practice they put in to nail that.

A massive virtual facepalm for the guy next to me who shouted, "Alright, now play something we actually know!" right after Pink Floyd 🤦

I’m a massive Pink Floyd enthusiast—I’ve been to over 20 shows, ranging from the original lineup to various tribute acts. To my mind, two Brit Floyd shows stand alone as the absolute best live performances I have ever witnessed. Honestly, they surpassed even the original Pink Floyd set in Vienna and Roger Waters's performance of The Wall at the Arena. They are simply phenomenal. I’m already counting down the days until they return.

I was seriously blown away. I’d heard nothing but good things about them, especially regarding the vocals, but man... this blew all my expectations out of the water. It was a perfect ten. The way they performed High Hopes was just phenomenal—that little guitar solo? Pure bliss. The lighting setup was incredible, and those lasers during the second half were spot on too; everything felt so perfectly timed. Sound was great overall, though if I had to nitpick, maybe a tiny bit too much bass for my taste, but honestly, it was an amazing show😉

I'm really hoping they make another stop here next year, just like the guitarist mentioned at the end of the night.

Pure insanity, they were absolutely phenomenal! I was right there in the front row, standing on my feet for four hours straight, but honestly, every single second was worth it... 👍

So, through some stroke of pure luck, I actually ended up making it to the concert, and honestly? It was a win. 😁 Third time's the charm, I guess. It was miles better than the previous two times I caught a show like this, even if I still have a few nitpicks. I’m still going to argue that the price tag of $73 is just plain ridiculous. And seriously, if you’re one of those people trying to compare Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, or especially Roger Waters to Brit Floyd, please, just get real. 🙂 For anyone who missed out on the show, my advice is simple: don't let the next one pass you by under any circumstances.

I know it’s not really an apples-to-apples comparison, but compared to seeing Roger Waters in Miami, this sound setup was pretty amateur hour—honestly, I left feeling kind of let down. Especially since they kicked things off with The Wall.

The second half of the set was way better than the first, particularly those last few songs (they absolutely killed it with the OOTD). As for the light show, it was basically the same thing as last year, which didn't really do much for me.

If you ask me, last year was actually better. Sean Bishop22, you hit the nail on the head there—the ticket price is definitely too steep for what you actually get, especially when I remember paying the exact same amount to see Waters. I mean, credit where it's due, they were on stage for almost three hours.

But I still can't wrap my head around the fact that they didn't play a single thing from the Barrett era. Not one. It's honestly embarrassing.

Oh, and one more thing... the promoters... The concert is supposed to start at 8 PM on paper, but they don't even open the damn doors until half an hour before. 🙄

All in all, it was a decent enough night, but I seriously doubt I'll be going to a third one of their shows.

Mine was the $33 😁 it was incredible—they played and sang their hearts out, and I even managed to snag some autographs 🙂 if they tour again in the coming years, I'm definitely going back!

I was there back in '94 for the Pink Floyd concert in Vienna, and again in 2011 at the Madison Square Garden show for Roger Waters's The Wall. I’ve been listening to almost nothing but Pink Floyd for over 25 years—I know their catalog inside out, owning nearly every live recording, documentary, and book out there. In my honest opinion, the original lineup just didn't carry that same raw energy they had in their prime—an energy I actually felt much more intensely during the Brit Floyd concert. No offense intended, it's just how it felt to me...

Anyway, let me try my luck here too... I managed to snap some absolutely insane photos on my phone from right in the front row, but then in a total moment of stupidity, I accidentally wiped them all out. 🙂
Does anyone happen to know how to fix this, or maybe someone would be willing to help me get them back? 🙂
I’ve already tried messing around with it myself, but nothing is working... 😢

That was an incredible show—honestly, I think it actually topped last year's performance, even though I wasn't even sure if I felt like going in the first place. But man, from those very first notes of "Outside The Wall," my mood just completely shifted... total game changer. When they hit "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and "Comfortably Numb," the crowd just lost it. They absolutely crushed those. My only real gripe? "Mother." All that extra vocal gymnastics with the backing singers felt totally unnecessary. That song is supposed to be this raw, intimate dialogue between a mother and her son; you don't need all those vocal flourishes getting in the way of the emotion. And seriously, why on earth didn't they play "Hey You" or "Learning to Fly"? Those two are basically staples at these shows... you almost expect them to be part of the setlist. It’s not like I sat there feeling empty without them, I’m just pointing out they were missing. Also, such a bummer that Algie didn't take flight... I'm not sure if they usually let him soar, but maybe the small arena just felt a bit too cramped to pull that stunt off.

Have any of you actually been to a massive show at Madison Square Garden or Dodger Stadium? Honestly, Algie fell down because of the embarrassment you're all causing.
