Things always get interesting when we head to Canada! I can't wait.

It’ll probably end up being one of those situations where everyone was cutting corners, except for those two drivers who supposedly got some "special treatment" and immediately started making a scene.

At the end of the day, it’s going to look like Goodyear was playing games with everyone—the only difference is how each individual team chooses to interpret the manipulation. 😎

Just jumping in so this isn't just a one-sided conversation.

First off, McLaren’s winning streak is finally broken. Not that I’m rooting against them, but honestly, it doesn't change much for me right now.
Second, they're running supersoft tires again. God, I hate those things.
Third, the low downforce setup should hopefully give Red Bull a bit of a headache.
Fourth, a Safety Car feels pretty likely, which adds that usual dose of pure luck to the mix.
Fifth, overtaking looks easy here. At least it'll be decent TV.
Sixth, the track surface lacks grip, which is a shame since it won't help punish the Mercedes tires. Plus, there aren't many long corners to work with.

Between all that—partly because of it and partly despite it—I'm expecting a brutal, cutthroat fight, another aggressive performance from Fernando Alonso, and a win for Ferrari.

Basically, the new Concorde hasn't been signed (and the Concorde regulates everything), but the old one expired on December 31, 2012... which means there are technically zero regulations in place, so you can't penalize anyone based on a rule that isn't even active 😁

Bottom line: test as much as you want and do whatever you feel like 😍
Word is Red Bull is heading to Canada loaded with EBD, fresh engine maps, flexible wings, TC, V8 turbos, etc.
Mark Webber is somehow 69 seconds per lap faster than Lojzek and the rest of the crew... the only rule is he shouldn't overtake Kimi Räikkönen or Sebastian Vettel... or so Marko told him 🙂😬🤣

It’s not a losing streak; it’s actually the opposite.
For the last three years, McLaren has been winning in Montreal.
Red Bull, meanwhile, has managed to snag three Sebastian Vettel titles in that same span, yet they haven't touched a win in Montreal once. Personally, I'm rooting for their dry spell to continue, because that McLaren winning streak is bound to snap sooner rather than later.

Honestly, I’m just over the constant drama with McLaren, Red Bull, and Ferrari. At the end of the day, all I really want is to watch Kimi Räikkönen go absolutely ballistic during those final two laps in Monaco. Is it just me, or has everyone else on the grid started looking a bit ridiculous compared to him?

There aren't long corners, sure, but there are plenty of heavy-load turns.
Full throttle right out of the slow corners.
Lots of rear-end sliding.
More sliding means more tire degradation.

And you know what's missing? Downforce on the rear end.

I’m expecting a good race, and I fully intend to get one.
