Anyone seen American Mary (2012)?

Hands down the best horror/thriller I've sat through all year... seriously, if you haven't seen it yet, get on it.
So, the gist of it is this: some brilliant med student gets invited to a party by these old-school professors—you know the type—and they end up drugging and assaulting her. She basically walks away from her studies entirely, but then she tracks down one of those professors and kidnaps him to practice some pretty gruesome surgical procedures on him. It’s dark, it's messy, and honestly... it works.

I really hope people actually go out and watch this one and talk about it, because let's be real—good movies in this genre have been pretty much nonexistent lately. We need more of this stuff.

P.S. The lead actress is an absolute knockout 🙂

It’s just some sleazy horror flick. About this broke college student who decides to perform surgery on some half-light creature... and there's this opening scene where she's practicing stitching up a dead chicken. It's a complete disaster, and even the actresses are totally lacking talent.
I thought about posting my thoughts on the impressions board, but I figured no sane person would actually want to watch this junk anyway.

I was actually interested because I saw an American flag in the background and thought maybe it was a serious social drama—something along the lines of a heavy South American film like *Magdalena*. But nope, this is just pure trash in its most pathetic form.

Total garbage. Seriously, what a snooze fest! It was just unoriginal, predictable, and the plot felt completely pointless. Honestly, the only thing that kept this from being an absolute train wreck was the lead actress—it’s such a shame she wasted her talent on a project this bad.
